Stephen Hill Is A Monser!

He didn't get a chance to show much at GT. They never threw the ball so you don't know how much of a game changer he can really be when a defense focuses on him. He has alot of talent but he wasn't showcased at the college level the way he should have been. Even though he only caught 28 passes, he averaged 29 ypr. He will need to be coached up to deal with the NFL game when defenses know that he is on the field.

Unless we trade Roddy, which we won't, there is zero chance TD takes Hill. The guy does have huge potential, but he is unproven and I'm pretty sure he is known for dropping too many balls. I am curious to see how things turn out for him. Year 2 or 3 for him might be huge. He definitely needs work right now though.

I still think he is a 3-5 round prospect. Don't let the 4.3 confuse you. Look at the tape. He is VERY raw. No route running, poor defensive recognition. Not the whole package. Look at his tape vs Julio's tape. Julio showed that explosiveness every snap. Hill struggles snap to snap unless he is just running straight. That's the problem. He is a 4.3 guy in shorts and running straight, but make him decipher an NFL defense and that 4.3 goes to a 4.5 and he looks like Jenkins.

This is not saying he can't develop, but he has a lot of work beyond his 40.

He is running his routes pretty good at the combine so it may be less work than we think

It's the combine...

Nobody is covering him, he has practiced these things since the season ended, and he is in shorts. Lol Look at the tape. You can look great at the combine if you practice the drills enough. But when you have to do it in a game, the truth will come out. Ask Aaron Maybin or any other workout warriors

They wont lose him.

They still need to clear up their salary just to get under the cap and my expecation is that Wallace will command about an $8 million contract. They're going to have to clear it up quickly to bring him back and borrow as much as they can against future caps, otherwise they'd be wise to tender him so they can at least get a 1st rounder for him.

No one is gonna give up a 1st round pick for him. That rarely ever happens.
