jbrinson
I know that we have bigger needs but Stephen Hill is 6'4 and just a 4.3. If the falcons took this guy at 55 i would not be angry. Some good linemen and tightends can be found later but a wideout this big and fast won't last long. Tell me what you guys think.
txfalconfan
He didn't get a chance to show much at GT. They never threw the ball so you don't know how much of a game changer he can really be when a defense focuses on him. He has alot of talent but he wasn't showcased at the college level the way he should have been. Even though he only caught 28 passes, he averaged 29 ypr. He will need to be coached up to deal with the NFL game when defenses know that he is on the field.
txfalconfan
I would definately take a chance on him in later rounds but with his size and speed he probably won't be there. And if we resign HD we won't need him anyway.
jfalconsp
Yeah I've been watching him at Tech since he came there, dudes a beast. I was hoping he'd fly under the radar a bit but it doesnt like it. He won't be there past the 2nd round.
JRid
Unless we trade Roddy, which we won't, there is zero chance TD takes Hill. The guy does have huge potential, but he is unproven and I'm pretty sure he is known for dropping too many balls. I am curious to see how things turn out for him. Year 2 or 3 for him might be huge. He definitely needs work right now though.
vel
I still think he is a 3-5 round prospect. Don't let the 4.3 confuse you. Look at the tape. He is VERY raw. No route running, poor defensive recognition. Not the whole package. Look at his tape vs Julio's tape. Julio showed that explosiveness every snap. Hill struggles snap to snap unless he is just running straight. That's the problem. He is a 4.3 guy in shorts and running straight, but make him decipher an NFL defense and that 4.3 goes to a 4.5 and he looks like Jenkins. This is not saying he can't develop, but he has a lot of work beyond his 40.

Guest Negatorris
I think we can have another luxury pick in 2013, but not now. It would be cool to have him though.
MattRyan2Canton
his combine performance has pretty much made him a millionaire.travis johnson has looked really good to me.

Lol Look at the tape. You can look great at the combine if you practice the drills enough. But when you have to do it in a game, the truth will come out. Ask Aaron Maybin or any other workout warriors

StatzQuo
Watched him at Tech. Very athletic but very unfocused. Use to drop the easiest passes. Some team will take him high due to his measurables. Hopefully he will pan out in the NFL

youngbloodz
Route running isn't hard at all. Just something that needs to be practiced.
Tribal Chief
My man Tommy Streeter is alot better. There are alot of sub 4.4 WR at the combine and plenty of them have better hands than Hill
Psychic Gibbon
Hill is pure straight line speed, ala Randy Moss. Don't expect him to be anything but a vertical threat at the NFL level if you want that pure explosiveness. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers picked him up if they lose Wallace. That's what separates just fast guys from elite WRs.
Psychic Gibbon
They wont lose him. They still need to clear up their salary just to get under the cap and my expecation is that Wallace will command about an $8 million contract. They're going to have to clear it up quickly to bring him back and borrow as much as they can against future caps, otherwise they'd be wise to tender him so they can at least get a 1st rounder for him.
