From everything I hear coming outta Miami, if Manning is released by the Colts the 'phins are gonna offer him virtually anything he wants to sign with them. Whether he can play or not. It's pretty obvious they still have quite a cocaine epidemic goin' on in South Florida. I can see the skins trading with the Vikes, leapfrogging the Browns so they can take him, which I hope doesn't happen because then I could see the Browns taking Mo Claiborne. In which case I'll be pissed............and NOBODY wants that!ohmy.png

Jeff fisher and Shanny are said to have a great relationship. If the skins trade with anyone it would be the Rams.

I would want him to come to my second favorite team, the Phins, but I doubt it. He will either go to the Skins or Browns. The only hope for the Skins is to trade up, because I'm sure the Browns want him.

WHAT IF THE COLTS DRAFT HIM? LOL

Hey.. the last time the Falcons had a very athletic qb............they won playoff games.

Not like we need a very athletic QB to beat your team year after year. :/

Too bad they don't give out SB rings for beating the Panthers?

inb4 Pats.

And too bad they don't give out SB Rings for athleticism either.

that would mean the panthers actually make the playoffs. So a ring could never be given out for that

Well, come on now, lets be real. If the Panthers met the Falcons in the playoffs................... who would be the safe bet to win that? The Panthers or the Falcons? Keeping in mind that the Panthers, in a very short existence, has the same number of playoff wins as the Falcons. Also the fact that... well, you know.. the Falcons get rolled by every team once the playoffs start.

;) Which is why beating the Panthers, in the regular season, is the Falcons and some Falcon fans, SB.

We got beat by teams that competed in the SB most of which have won. We would be considered lucky if we got to face the Panthers in the playoffs. They aren't even a playoff team and if we met the Falcons would trounce them soundly. :)

If Cam performed horrible in the Pro Bowl, imagine the playoffs.

Yep..... Because Matt Ryan proved that there's a connection between pro bowl performances and playoff performances.

Hey.. who is to say that if the Panthers had a free bye week in the playoffs via the Falcons, they wouldn't make it to the SB also? Beating sh1tty playoff teams in the playoffs is what gives some of these teams confidence as they move forward. Giants were kind of bad until their free playoff bye week vs the Falcons. So were the Cardinals in '08, and the Packers of '10.

I guess, just keep your fingers crossed and hope the Panthers: 1. Do not make the playoffs anytime soon and 2. Do not get matched up with the Falcons in the playoffs.

Wait so this thread has become who would win a Playoff game between the Falcons and the Panthers???

umm I will take the team good enough to make the playoffs thanks.

True.. the Falcons have made it into the postseason 3 times since 2008.. while the Panthers have only made it once. How many playoff wins have both teams acquired, since 2008?

;) Doesn't change the fact that both of our teams have 0 playoff wins since 2008. Despite the Falcons having the #1 seed at least once over that time, and the Panthers having the #1 draft pick at least once.

I had a nightmare browns traded up and got the # 2 and picked RG3 and the redskins traded to the 5th and got glen davis. A basketball player. Terrible dream. I want RG3

Skins would be a great fit for RG3. Hopefully either the Phins or Skins get him. If I were him, I'd be weary as h3ll about the Browns.

Ok sure sorry our team is good enough to make the playoffs and got beaten by the NFC champ each time....

wink.png I'm sorry that my team has only been humilated on the national stage , in January, once, since 2008, opposed to 3 times.

I agree pox, we got our a**es handed to us in the playoffs. I hope everyone of those guys were humilated, they deserved to be. Hopefully each one of 'em will have learned that they never want to feel like that again. I hoping it will put a fire under their a**es this next season!! Its the only positive thing I can come up with after the whoopin' we took.
