Richard Marshall –CB 4 years 24 Mil (4 mil cap hit)2012 NFL DRAFT 2nd Round, 55th Pick- Vinny Curry, DE Marshall. 6'3 265 Lbs, 4.73 40. Curry is a pure pass rusher in every form of the word. He can line up at OLB in the 3-4, he can play with his hand in the dirt the guy is a very versatile and very skilled player. Curry has great power and can bull rush his opponent back into the Quarterback as well as use his burst and speed and come around the edge. When he gets engaged he is good at slapping the T's hands away and uses a swim move to beat his man when engaged.3rd Round, 87th Pick- Casey Hayward, CB Vanderbilt. 5'11 190 LBs, 4.48 40. Hayward is very underrated in this draft and in my opinion he could be a major steal, he reminds me a lot of Cortland Finnegan with his physical play at the line and in run support despite his size, but he also has great ball hawking skills as well, but at times makes bad decisions on breaking on the ball to go for the Int instead of staying on his man, he is also prone to getting PI calls due to his physicality. However he has tremendous upside as he is very scheme diverse and has great ball skills along with nice intangibles such as a good speed.5th Round, 151st Pick- Jake Bequette DE- Arkansas. 6’5 264. 4.54 40Adding Depth and competition to our RDE Position. 6th Round, 183rd Pick- Derek Wolfe DT Cincinnati. 6’5 286 4.98 40Adding some much needed competition and DT depth, has ability to play DE as well7th Round, 215th Pick- Sean Richardson, SS Vanderbilt. 6'2 220 LBs 4.54 40The O-Line is now stableLT- Mcneil/SvitekLG- Blalock/JacksonC-Mcclure/HawleyRG-Grubbs/JohnsonRT-Clabo/ReynoldsDLine is now stable even after losing AbeRDE- Curry/Bequette/SidburyDT- Babs/Peters/Wolfe/WalkerLDE- Edwards/Beirmann/BequetteSecondary is not in shambles even after losing GrimesCB1 Dunta/ Franks/OwensCB2 Marshall/Hayward/WallsNB- Franks/Hayward/Owens/Walls
Guest Gritz
So, you have John Parker Wilson as backup QB?I like a lot of what you did but I sure as **** don't like that.
Tallahassee
I liked the focus on the lines. Those have to be shored up, and it's something this organization has never really done. That said, why would you let Redman walk? What have you seen in JPW that makes you think he's ready?
Wokezone
Hah oh no JPP is not going to back up anyone but the water boy. didnt know who we are going to get so i didnt put it. but whoever it is it wont be an expensive move. maybe Henne from the dolphis or something. Wokezone
Redman didnt show me anything last year, even during preseason that said if ryan goes down he can keep this team afloat. he looked only marginally better than JPP

Wokezone
I could live with that, gerrard could be a more likely possibility.

Wokezone
Because we all know at least 90% of it is going to happen, should be the same % in most mocks
Wokezone
Only things that might be differnt are some of the draft picks, and maybe 1 or 2 FAs

egoprime II
No way does McNiell sign for only four million per. I know many think a player coming off injury has to take less money, but that only happens if a players ability to play is dimished. McNiell stands to come back as good as ever. Teams will be falling all over themselves trying to sign him. When he clears a physical and is declared fit to play, McNiell will demand at least 8 million per in a multi year deal. The guy is one of the best LT's in the NFL.
Master Exploder
Yeah, this isn't going to happen. I seriously doubt Bequette or Wolfe will be available past the 3rd round. I think Hayward has a better chance lasting to round 5 or 6 than either of them.
egoprime II
About Curry...first off he is a great athlete. But he also needs to be a great football player, or at least a very good one. He played at Marshall. Is Marshall a big time program? Who do they play? What kind of performance did Curry turn in against quality competition? Did he ever PLAY against quality competition?TD has said, he is not comfortable drafting DE's in the first round of the draft because of the positions' spotty draft record. Its hard to think he is going to use our first pick on a short light DE from a smaller school.
kane#7
I like it... only thing I would add would be Sid is at least going to be the #2 RE this year.I love the focus on the lines.

Wokezone
So because I believe the same trash is leaving that you do its a mimic? so after the first 100 or so mocks no one else ever needs to make one because the realistic mocks are finished. lol in my mock,The secondary and the lines are shored up. in your mock, they are far from it.you went out and picked a DT who is going to the rams because he is following fisher, brought in no CB veteran to replace grimes. Kept Abraham Around for a rediculous deal and gave an injured probowler 1 year deal who at his size wont be most likely wont be at 100% next year but we will be able to see what he offers us. in a 1 year signing we have to turn around and break the bank next year if he turns out good. SO is this a copy your mock, doesnt sound like it. did I like stuff in your mock yea. did I like stuff in walter footballs yea, NFL mocks yea. Did i put my own mock together using some of everyones and My own person ideas on what i think is best for this team. yeah. That is called learning taking all the evidence and putting it forward and finding what is the best solution for our team. you had Travaethen in the 5th round of your mock, I had Wolfe. Theres plenty of differences in our two mocks for you to claim this is YOUR mock.Becuase this.. is MY mock Edited February 23, 2012 by T-Falcon

jfalconsp
While you did change some stuff, after reading Zodiac's this morning I knew you took from his immediately when I saw Todd McClure 1 year- 5 mil (3 mil against cap). I've already had that conversation once this morning.

Wokezone
I admit that I did borrow from your mock, and Walters mock, annd the Nfls mock, and every other mock that we all look at this time of year . I liked the order your mock put it together on the trash stuff, but I didnt agree with all your resignings or your draft picks.I did copy and paste your list of trash cuts and obvious resigns but again It would not change from your mock to ever board thats posted the cut and stay lists.I then made the changes from your mock that seemed out of place.I think barring someone else picking him we are going for Vinny curry yes?I then made a change to your Abrham pick and chose FAs and draft picks so is it really copying your Mock, because if it is you have stolen from everyone who has a board that looks like this.Brent Grimes- WalkingJohn Abraham- walksEric Weems- WalksKroy Biermann- resignedHarry Douglas- resginedVance Walker- ResignedJason Snelling- WalksJames Sanders- WalksReggie Kelly- WalksKelvin Hayden- WalksChris Redman- WalksBrett Romberg- WalksKirk Chambers- WalksSam Baker- CutOvie Mughelli- Cut

hjerry
Lol i didnt copy it unless by copying mean Half of it is different.I just think it's hilarious that this thread has essentially turned into a bunch of bickering on who copied from who and what. Just for the record, I copy my player info from Walterfootball for my mocks. Edited February 23, 2012 by hjerry
