It's been time for him to retire for many years, I wonder if he will take the hint and call it quits. What do you guys think he will do after football? He was a pilejumper and racked up a lot of #s by doing so. I can't find any career stats on LBs and him, how far up is he on the AllTime Tackles list?

I'm probbaly in a minority of 1, but I still have a lot of respect for Brooking, for what he gave to this franchise for many years.

He may not be the greatest LB to play the game, but he gave his heart and sould to this team for the majority of his career, and played at a high level. He'll always have my respect for that, even if he did run his mouth and act like a fool towards us after he left.

Brooking was one of my favorites until 2008 when he started to decline. Unfortunately, I only associate two things with him now. 3rd and 16, and his taunting us as a Cowboy.

Brooking sucked in his last three years as a Falcon, but his first eight were pretty dam good.

He was a top five solo tackler for like four or five years.

Can anyone out there tell me how TF you pile on a solo tackle?

But your forgetting trhe second line about being "drug 10 yards downfield"

Kieth Brookings ran out of steam his last two years with the Falcons. He was an animal in the beginning but all good players lose their fire as they grow older. I'm surprised he was able to start so many games with Dallas. I'ts time for him to retire gracefully. I still have a "Brooking" bobble head that I tried to sell on Craigslist.
