Tandy Gossett
It's been time for him to retire for many years, I wonder if he will take the hint and call it quits. What do you guys think he will do after football? He was a pilejumper and racked up a lot of #s by doing so. I can't find any career stats on LBs and him, how far up is he on the AllTime Tackles list?Oops ... kane#7
If anyone says we could get him for cheap to replace Lofton I will find a way to ban you myself!!!
slamee101
Of course he is. He barely got on the field in Dallas this yet. Wade might lobby for him in Houston to be a backup.
ukfalc
I'm probbaly in a minority of 1, but I still have a lot of respect for Brooking, for what he gave to this franchise for many years. He may not be the greatest LB to play the game, but he gave his heart and sould to this team for the majority of his career, and played at a high level. He'll always have my respect for that, even if he did run his mouth and act like a fool towards us after he left.

jdub051082
Does anyone remember how he acted after the Cowboys beat us? Then Karma struck and he couldn't handle it. Philly beat them and Brooking lost it. Life at that time wasn't fair.

phattywankenobi
Ironically some people are still jumping on the pile years after he's been gone.
FalconFanSince1970
Brooking sucked in his last three years as a Falcon, but his first eight were pretty dam good.He was a top five solo tackler for like four or five years. Can anyone out there tell me how TF you pile on a solo tackle? Unfortunately, I only associate two things with him now. 3rd and 16, and his taunting us as a Cowboy.

Big_D
Kieth Brookings ran out of steam his last two years with the Falcons. He was an animal in the beginning but all good players lose their fire as they grow older. I'm surprised he was able to start so many games with Dallas. I'ts time for him to retire gracefully. I still have a "Brooking" bobble head that I tried to sell on Craigslist.

Dem Birds
I always had respect for Brooking, even after he left, until we played him. Then all the good will and accomplishments he had accumulated with me went out the window.
