Sipifalcon
I dont really follow UGA so dnt really know much about him but after watching this video this dude is a straight up playmaker... pzummo
He can't be any good. UGA didn't even win the National Championship.Edit: This was sarcasm...
freebird310
He is Grimes part2 ........plus the return skills ....we could do worse, but if we go CB at #2, I want Gilmore ..he is a better fit for Nolan ....it is possible Boykin could be there at 3 though, and that would be a great pick ...... dirtybirdz10984
he was an absolute beast in that michigan st game. a safety, offensive td and a special teams td or defensive td cant remember
g-dawg
the guy is a great playmaker but he tackles like Deion Sanders - dives at the feet or only lays wood when the player is not looking.I would take Boykin on Falcons but would not use a 2nd rounder on him - he would be solid 3rd round pick though - probably a #3. g-dawg
here is an example of me being somewhat critical of a UGA player and nobody says anything - but if I ever say we should draft a UGA player or that the player is really good - i'm just a dayum UGA homer.....just wanted to point out to some of you guys for future reference in other threads..Yeah I would take him in the 3rd to play nickel and return, he could be our solution to our woes at nickelagreed Jaymadd. LOL been watching Boykin since his Fayette County days, the broken leg thing hurts his draft status, but he is a high character guy, smart and a leader and is at a need position, he will have to work hard to really stand out in the NFL but he has the make up to do just that . Falcons could do a helluva lot worse than Boykin in the 3rd round.Though I am thinking he may drop.
MattRyanProvesYouWrong
If we could get an early 3rd, I'd take him without missing a beat, but I'm not sure if he's worth the 2nd round pick. You can get a solid contender for a 2nd rounder (See Weatherspoon, Lofton).
Falkonator
I'm convinced, draft that man, I hope we trade up in the third for him. Draft brandon Moore.or a TE in the 2nd
Steel City Falcon
Watch what you throw up about UGA players. Half the board will call you a homer.

Because of the broken leg, I would think he would drop to 3rd round.I'm just not sure that cornerback is one of our top two needs right now - we will have to see what happens with Grimes.W/ Grimes/Dunta/Franks/Walls - i actually think those are 4 decent NFL corners if there is a pass rush in front of them. You can get a solid contender for a 2nd rounder (See Weatherspoon, Lofton).Weatherspoon was a top 20 pick, but I see the point you're making. Boykin's stock was looking like it was going to be high 2nd round, possible late 1st round, but now with the injury it's kinda' leveled off. He should still be a 2nd-3rd round guy regardless, but with Mike Nolan, I really wonder if we'd go after him. He doesn't really fit the bill, but there's always outliers.I could really see the Patriots taking him and mixing him into the offense as well. Guest Negatorris
I think we can use him on offense and defense too. O.ODo you see that speed?
T.Mays
You showed me nothing of him as a corner, the first play he was beat but the Qb underthrew the WR. Im sold on him as a KR/PR but not at CB. Edited February 21, 2012 by T.Mays

Im sold on him as a KR/PR but not at CB.Been watching him since he was the starting CB as a freshman in High School. Like I said he is going to have to work to stand out in the NFL but he has corner skills with the right position coach he will be a solid starter, he has the work ethic to make it happen. Not sure if he is right for theFalcons but I'd love to see him get a shot. Still think 3rd is too early, probably 4th round....

Guest mashburn
you think he will be there in the third? if so that would be great.also what do you think of his knee injury? is he a quick healer? If we got him in the third this would help a lot. Because I think he would not be on the field until he got 85% healthy and then also he would not be a starter until mid october.thoughts? 1989Fan
I like Boykin because this team needs a pure nickle, we have 3 guys who can play outside but nobody has really shown the ability to cover the open space required in nickle.I really like Franks for the outside, but not so sure in the NB spot, much like Owens.
