falcon057
Fleener won’t do drills at the CombinePosted by Gregg Rosenthal on February 20, 2012, 3:33 PM ESTAPWe’ve heard that this isn’t a great class for tight ends. (Then again, we heard that when Rob Gronkowski, Jimmy Graham, and Aaron Hernandez came out in 2010.)The top player at the position could be Stanford tight end Coby Fleener, who is far from guaranteed to go in the first round. Fleener won’t be able to help his draft stock at the Combine on the field because he’ll miss athletic drills with a foot injury, according to Rob Rang of CBSSports.com.Most analysts have Fleener, Georgia’s Orson Charles, and Clemson’s Dwayne Allen as the top three tight ends, usually with second round grades.Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on February 20, 2012, 3:33 PM ESTAPWe’ve heard that this isn’t a great class for tight ends. The Falcon Jedi Knight
Orson Charles is the best TE
blkbigdog35
Wouldn't mind us bringing Orson charles in with the second round pick because he would fill a need.
metatron360
Man the Stanford guy could be a steal. I don't see how we could pass him up if he is on the board at our pick. He could well be the reason luck is going number 1. 6'6 if I'm not mistaken. A year behind TG. We could strike literal gold
jbrinson
Fleener could be our JImmy Graham. He could sit a year like graham, get snaps in the redzone and then take over next year after tony retires. We should also keep Palmer around as well because i think he is pretty decent

Guest Negatorris
Orson or Fleener. This could be great, as Fleener might move down a few draft spots.

didz
Is Fleener more Chase Coffman or is he more Rob Grank?
Falkonator
Could it be possible Fleener could slip to the 4th? Idk how credible Walter football is, but in his last mock Fleener wasn't even in the first 4 rounds, could his injury be more serious than it has been said? muskokas finest ©
A foot injury didn't exactly make Julio Jones any cheaper to draft.
Master Exploder
I don't like Coby Fleener. He's not the same athlete that Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham are. He's tall, but that's it.It's a close race, but none of TE's really stand out to me. Dwayne Allen is a safe pick and Orson Charles could easily take the top spot in my opinion, but I'm finding myself becoming more and more infatuated with Ladarius Green. Atlfanstckndenver
I think spending our top pick on Orsen Charles would be a waste personally. The guy is not going to be anything special. Could be wrong but its my opinion from what ive seen.

falconsd56
If we make the big splash in FA that some of us are expecting then I am cool with taking a 2nd round TE.The last second round TE we took worked out pretty well for us.We just gotta have some big hits in FA

TE, CB and another RB figure to be needs at that point.
