Nono
Long shot, but Julian Peterson is an OLB that could be moved to the middle is Lofton is a goner. Julian has a huge motor and is currently a FA living here in Atl? What do you think? He could be signed for small 1 year deal and has tons of skills. k-train
He'll be 34 when the season starts. You're about 5 years too later on this guy.

k-train
I respectfully disagree---he is ballerThe pic you posted is from 2008 at the earliest. This is 2012. He was a good LB, but he's never been anything special in coverage. If you are going to put a guy at MLB who isn't great in coverage, why use a 34 year old who was away from football all of last year? Why not just go ahead and re-sign Lofton? With all the other holes on defense potentially, I doubt they let Lofton get away unless they know they can replace him. Peterson would be a last ditch effort at this stage of his career, and I din't see Blank being very happy w/ TD if he's out there making last ditch effort signings. TD's job is probably on the line based on what he does this offseason, so I find it very hard to think he would decide to not sign a MLB w/ some coverage issues who's in his prime to a long term deal, and instead bring in a guy who will be 34 when the season starts, isn't even a MLB, isn't really any better in coverage, sat out all of last year, was let walk by both the lowly Seahawks & Lions, and on a 1 year deal. With all due respect, you are beyond wrong if you think Julian Peterson is going to be on this team.
