Point/counterpoint On Turner From Gbb

Since turner is such a hotly debtated topic, we decided to do a Pint/Counterpoint on rather he is still a feature back on GBB

Personally I no longer think he's a feature back, I don't even think he's worth the cap space he is taking up. So what do you guys think?

I have my concerns about Turner, but I don't agree with using the argument that he only produced against bad teams, because that is the case with most running backs. If you look at the post season, I think there were only 2 players that eclipsed the 100 yard mark - Arian Foster twice and Isaac Redman.

Another interesting fact... Out of those 3 instances, twice the team who had a 100 yard rusher lost.

To be fair the Texans were using TJ Yates against the Pats and made it a close game and the Steelers took it to OT.

Turner shouldn't be a feature back anymore. Not saying he can't be one, just would be more effective in a committee. A true RBBC. He is an underrated receiving back and runs hard when he is fresh. The problem is riding his back ALL SEASON and he runs out of gas. It's only natural

Turner should be a part of the car, not the engine that runs it. We had the good sense to spread the football around in the air. Lets get Quizz more involved. I would love having Turner and Quizz split carries 50/50. In the 4th quarter if we are winning put turner in to seal it. If we are trailing move the rotation 70/30 in favor of quizz. Rogers isnt completely proven for the most part as a blocker, so in some situations turner is still a good fit for passing downs.

I hope that was just Mularkey call. Got to get the other RB's some carries, **** got to get as many players involved as possible, starters get injured or atleast worn down it was a joke that LB Robert James was supposed to have to play significant minutes against the Giants after barely seeing the field the whole year. Fricking poor planning, not to mention not even close to how some of the better teams rotate players in and out.
