KJW 23
RD 2.Jake Bequette, DE, ArkansasHeight: 6-5. Weight: 264.Projected 40 Time: 4.80.Arm: 32 1/4. Hand: 9 1/4.Projected Round (2012): 3-4. Bequette had a feast-or-famine season. He missed three games with a hamstring injury, two of which were against Alabama and Texas A&M. Bequette was quiet in some of the other games but exploded against South Carolina with three sacks and a forced fumble. For the season, he has 25 tackles with 8.5 tackles for a loss, eight sacks and four forced fumbles. Bequette was producing well late in the regular season but was held in check by LSU.RD 3.Logan Harrell, DT, Fresno StateHeight: 6-2. Weight: 278.Projected 40 Time: 4.81.Projected Round (2012): 3-5.2/6/12: Harrell had a quality season even though Fresno State struggled and failed to qualify for a Bowl. He totaled 71 tackles with 17 tackles for a loss, six sacks, four passes broken up and three forced fumbles. Harrell was held in check by Nebraska but played tough against Boise State. He has a fabulous motor and gives maximum effort. Harrell plays physical football. At the next level, his best fit might be to play defensive end in a 4-3 defense and move inside to rush the passer on passing downs. If Harrell bulks up, he could be a potential five technique.RD 5.Joel Foreman, G, Michigan StateHeight: 6-4. Weight: 310.Projected 40 Time: 5.30.Projected Round (2012): 4-5.1/16/12: Foreman was solid, yet unspectacular for Michigan State this season. He is a quality run blocker and pass blocker. Foreman has good technique and is well-rounded, but does not look like he has special physical tools.RD 5Blake Gideon, FS, TexasHeight: 6-1. Weight: 200.Projected 40 Time: 4.54.Projected Round (2012): 4-5.12/31/11: Gideon has 64 tackles with four passes defended, one sack and one interception. He has consistently been around the ball for the Longhorns. Gideon was one of the few Texas players who battled well against Baylor and its lethal passing combination of Robert Griffin III and Kendall Wright.RD 6Tauren Poole, RB, TennesseeHeight: 5-11. Weight: 213.Projected 40 Time: 4.50.Projected Round (2012): 5-6.1/16/12: Poole was banged up this season and battled a hamstring injury. Thus, he did not produce the numbers that many were expecting. Poole totaled 693 yards and five touchdowns.8/18/11: Tauren Poole was the workhorse for Tennessee in 2010. He averaged 5.1 yards per carry and totaled 1,034 yards and 11 touchdowns. Poole has a nice burst through the hole and runs with both power and good body lean. He runs through arm tackles and can bulldoze his way through the pile in short-yardage situations. Entering the 2011 season, Poole is one one the best short-yardage runners in the draft class. If Poole can improve on his numbers in 2011, it wouldn't be surprising if he improves his draft stock to be in the second to third round range.RD 7Aaron Tevis, OLB, Boise StateHeight: 6-3. Weight: 228.Projected 40 Time: 4.67.Projected Round (2012): 6-FA.12/26/11: Tevis was very quiet this season. He had 46 tackles with six passes broken up and an interception.
