I Have A Feeling That We Are Go To See A Lot More No-Huddle In 201

So with a quiet offseason from the Falcons I'm going to talk for them as I'm taking things said either by the Falcons organization the players beat writers or anyone reporting on the Falcons and trying to piece together what i think is on their minds for 2012.

This week I'm going to take a deeper look into our most effective part of our game and that is the No-Huddle or as most say it is a Hurry-up offense.

I got this Wikipedia tid bit on Payton Manning on how they did it and they began to make a living out of it.

Manning's pre-snap routine has become one of the most recognizable scenes in the NFL.[11] Prior to each play in a football game, the offensive team generally huddles; however, Manning and the Colts almost always skip the huddle, instead using a hurry-up offense with numerous audibles at the line of scrimmage.[11][12] In 2010, he was named the eighth best player in NFL history, according to the NFL's top 100 show, and is the only active player in the top 10 category.[13]

I think most of us would agree that Matt and this offense flows well accross the board running and passing the ball when they run the hurry-up. Say what you want about Matt but I will contend that he runs this just as well as any QB in the league and Tony G. will agree. Check out this link on Tony G> in your spare time?

Koetter will agree also, check out what he says when asked bout the Falcons no-Huddle?

Definitely, watching from afar, Atlanta played well in the no-huddle. Talking to Matt Ryan, that is something that Matt is excited about so the no-huddle will certainly be a part of it. What percentage is still to be determined.

Watch also during an interview koetter had on the x's and o's lab on what he would like for his QB to be able to do

if he has the intangibles to do it?

The important thing to consider is how are you giving your QB answers? How are you teaching your QB to determine or recognize coverage?

Matt Ryan can already read coverage very well checkmate. here is another line from Koetter.

are you going to give your QB the option to change the play based on a check with me system or based on a package? Are you going to do something at the line of scrimmage, like run a motion, to determine man or zone?

Koetter will be turning over the keys to Matt in 2012 and for all who think that there will be a major overhaul to the offense I don't believe that other than Koetter installing his vertical passing and screen game and a few tweaks to plays already in the play route design to provide more YAC to the mix and he Koetter gives me reason to believe that there want be a major overhaul on the offense.

At the NFL level your pass game is more universal than anywhere else because there is a lot of tried and proven route combinations that almost every team in the NFL runs. Most teams run similar offenses with similar players.

Here is Koetter on taking about his thought on the Falcons playbook and what he believes about the use of using plays from past OCs.

Well, I think probably a combination. I don’t know if anybody owns any offenses out there. There is a lot of good offense out there.

Don't think he is going to throw away MM playbook:

I think it would be foolish to not build on some of the things that Atlanta is already doing very well and take advantage of those coaches that are going to remain on the staff and what they’ve done.

Plays are universal in the NFL like Koetter said lot's of plays have been tested an proven the problem was MM's unwillingness to put in the work to construct plays that fit his personnel perfect example Julio Jones can excel from the same plays that Terrell Owens succeeded off of when he was a 49er. Check it this video out of TO?

Okay I'm gone and remember we're all God's children and he loves us so let's try to love on another.

The best coaches out there, no matter what level they are coaching, can adjust to their player’s strengths.

DK is MM2.0 with slight adjustments IMHO, but that statement rings true to me in every-way. Gives me some hope.

I'm gonna hold DK to those words.

I am eager to see how DK can this offense. Many peolpe forget that in jacksonville last season, he had to adjust his offense to the jaguars strength.....which was pretty much just one player in MJD. So i am really excited to see what he does with the many weapons he will inherit

Roddy has said that koetter wants to throw it around and that we will use a lot of no huddle

He sure did on radio row with Marvin Sapp and rich Eisen that's also the time that Sapp got on him for not sending him that autographed jersey that he promised him for one of his young kid neighbors. That part was hilarious!

Wait....So why the "im no longer a Ryan Fan"? Description??? I was waiting to read an elaboration on that but mustve missed it.

I cant wait for all these people who are jumping off Ryans Bandwagon prematurely to look like fools when he looks great this season.

You may not be suggesting this but just in case you are I would like for you to know that I I'm far from a Ryan hater i was pulling for Ryan to get here ever since that VT game in 07" when he throw that winning TD with about 14 seconds left to win the game. I was at the first game of his NFL career in the dome when Detroit came to town in 08" and watched him throw his first NFL TD. I just used it as a tagging resource that's all to tap into that post that's all.
