meyerbudNYG
I know some of u guys are going to say no, no matter whatbut u should take it in stride that you lost to hte superbowl champions...like I said u guys just had a bad matchup on a bad field for you guys...I still say the Falcons are a good team that has to find more of an identity. Don't beat yourselves up over being 1 and done. Had we gone on to get worked by the Pack then, I would understand u guys being down on yourselves

I still think with the right decisions being made in offensive play calling, the Falcons could have stood up to the test, but we will never that for sure. When I was young, people used the term full of Mularkey to avoid having to say ****. I think that is what our offensive play calling was in that game and our former OC lived up to the old meaning of his name. Congrats on the win! BCEagleATLFalcon
If we had lost in tight, edge-of-your-seat games the last two years to the eventual Superbowl Champs, I might (MIGHT) be able to take just the tiniest bit of comfort in that. When you get blown up at home after a 13-3 season and then fail to muster a single offensive point the next season, there is NO comfort to be had. The way we've played the last two years in the play-offs, a college team would have had a shot at us.Thanks for the sentiment though. And congrats to your Giants. They essentially rose from the dead near the end of the season to go on this run.

The problem is Ryan got too much hype too soon and now people are expecting him to be further along than he is. Which isn't fair because hes had a GREAT start to a career as a young QB. I mean the truth of the matter is u guys just didn't have the line or defense to carry it all the way.But the truth is u guys are on the right track and will be legit for years t ocome

Falcon Fantom
haha really wasn't here trolling, but i can respect thatI know you were not trolling. That is why I said I feel you. But I am a Falcon Fan and I cannot be happy with the way we were demolished by you guys. There is no way I can look at a defeat like that and take something good from it in the aspect that you pointed out. The only good thing about a beat down like that is to learn from your mistakes. Steel City Falcon
Maybe I should have been a Giants fan like my Dad and most of my friends and family from NY. It is my home state after all.

Trouble
its easier to say when your a playoff team with some very good talent already under contract. Its harder to say when your the jags.
Rajhae Battle
Since the Matt Ryan/Mike Smith era, every team we lost to in the playoffs went on to the Super Bowl with GB & now The Giants winning, so i agree we are just a few steps away, we will see the Giants next year & just asked Alabama how good some "get back" feels see ya next year partner
paulitik
Congrats on the win. I wish most Giants fans, and our fans for that matter were as classy as you. Enjoy the year. Don't expect the pushovers you saw in the playoffs next year.
PokerSteve
We'll have an entire offseason and stuff this year to work out the kinks and develop more team chemistry, we'll be back with a vengence this coming season.. watch and see!I've said it before since the latest play-off embarrassment and I'll doubtless be saying it many more times before training camp starts. I LIKE what the FO has done with the changes and I'm really looking forward to the dawn of a whole new day for this franchise in terms of better offensive and defensive schemes, fresh input on what players we need to keep and which ones we need to dump and, last but not least, much more "killer instinct" type of mentality rather than more of the same old woosy-ball like the last four years.
