Ga_spider
What are your thoughts on bringing him in as our Right Guard? He only gave up 4 sacks last year at Tackle

tobyd77
Is he the guy from Miami? Just asking I don't remember but I'm thinking he is the FA from Miami. I know this much Koetter and Hill are going to be a great OC and o-line tandem. Matt already gets the ball out of his hands quickly so I see a lot of plays designed to get that ball out and there will be a lot of YAC because the way Pat's line is set up is to work hand and hand with the to get that ball out QB and the YAC is off the chain. I see Matt hitting it big this season putting Koetter on the map the NFL and the way that the scheme will be set up before you can get to Matt the ball will be gone. He should be upright a lot watching Julio and Roddy take his passes down the field. I see us maybe going at him or Ben Gruggs but not Carl K. Pat has been know to get the most out of his line He coach a 10th rounder who later went to the broncos and became a probowler.

Ga_spider
He is the guy from Miami. I hope we could get him cheap and become Competition for our RG spot.

KRUNKuno
yea man, it was just a bit of sarcasm. again, I'm for everything that protects matt and opens holes for turner.Carey used to be a top guard in this league.
Psychic Gibbon
Carey would be a likely pick up, to be honest. The team needs interior line depth and competition, Carey is likely to hit the market since the Dolphins FO is full of idiots, and we got the only worthwhile coach from the Dolphins not long ago and he may want to follow him to a much better team that just happens to have a need for him. Knight of God
He REALLY doesn't want to leave Miami at all. If he does it would be cool, but BELIEVE me when I say that he REALLY doesn't want to leave Miami.
DirtyBirdDynasty
If he hits the market he would be a good fit at RG, let us have a competition at C between Hawley and Johnson and draft a LT
madman88
Lets see wat johnson can do before we shut the door on that investment(3rd rd).. Hawley shifts over to C and we only need to look for a LT in either FA or draft... It really is time to put more talent on defense to be honest... Herr Doktor
Honestly, I don't care who we pick up. Just as long as they play their azz off, have some fire and pride, and battle like total and complete mutha *******.
DirtyBirdDynasty
Lets see wat johnson can do before we shut the door on that investment(3rd rd)..Hawley shifts over to C and we only need to look for a LT in either FA or draft... It really is time to put more talent on defense to be honest...Did you watch the playoff game where the defense was forcing 3 and outs to start the game and the offense couldnt get a 1st down to sustain a drive? They didnt score a point the whole game.Did you see when the OL repeatedly failed to take an inch? The OL is terrible and needs a massive upgrade. If someone on the roster is good enough to win the C spot with a FA upgrade at RG then great. Going into next season with the same garbage OL is a recipe for disaster. Blalock and Clabo are the only starters I see. We need a LT and theres no FA. We dont have a 1st rounder and our 2nd is late.
Pa_Falcon_Fan
To fix our line we need veteran players like Carey. We have enough projects (Hawley, Johnson, Jackson etc.) and can't afford to waste anymore of our window of opportunity waiting for guys who MIGHT develop inot players on the o-line.Carey wouldn't be a bad stop gap for a year or two till longer term solutions can be found or develop (see our list of projects).
