hjerry
Courtesy of Mockingthedraft.com, here are the rankings by position of small school prospects in the 2012 draft. At least half these guys probably won't get drafted, so your looking at a lot of diamond in the rough type players. Hopefully we can find some gems. Also, I removed Janoris Jenkins from the list since I don't think he counts as a true small school prospect.http://www.mockingth...ngs-by-positionQBBJ Coleman – QB – ChattanoogaAaron Corp – QB – RichmondBo Levi Mitchell – QB – Eastern WashingtonPatrick Witt – QB – YaleChris Lum - QB – LeHighRBJewel Hampton – RB – Southern IllinoisJonathan Grimes - RB - William & MaryDJ McNorton - RB - North Dakota StateTravaris Cadet – RB – Appalachian StateFBEmil Igwenagu - TE - MassachusettsTEAlex Gottlieb – TE – William & MaryLamont Bryant – TE – Morgan StateMatt Veldman – TE – North Dakota StateKavario Middleton - TE - MontanaWRBrian Quick - WR – Appalachian StateThomas Mayo – WR – Cal (PA)Tim Benford – WR – Tennessee TechJared Green – WR – SouthernDale Moss – WR - South Dakota StateChris Summers – WR – LibertyRico Wallace – WR - ShenandoahOLRishaw Johnson – OG - California (PA)Amini Silatolu – OG – Midwestern StatePaul Cornick – OG – North Dakota StateGino Gradkowski – OC – DelawareDJ Hall - OC - Texas StateTom Compton – OT – South DakotaJoe Long - OT – Wayne StateJeff Adams – OT – ColumbiaDustin Waldron – OT – Portland StateDaron Rose - OT - North AlabamaDavid Pickard - OT - Southern IllinoisDEAdrian Hamilton – DE – PVAMURyan Davis – DE – Bethune CookmanD.J. jbrinson
I would like Emil Igwenagu - TE - Massachusetts as a full back and then we can cut Mughelli or re-sign him for less because he is a great blocker. I want more of a receiving threat at fullback. I also like Brian Quick

I want more of a receiving threat at fullback. I also like Brian QuickI'm not opposed to extending Mughelli so we can spread out his contract, but I think he could be a receiving Fullback. He already had two receiving touchdowns by the time he went down, and a more creative coordinator should be able to get him more involved. Robb4242
I love the small school guys, I used to do preseason mocks of just small school players. There are 3 guys on this list I've liked & who I wouldn't mind us looking at during different parts of this draft are Tom Compton – OT – South Dakota, Aaron Corp – QB – Richmond, Chris Greenwood – CB – Albion.I think Compton is going to make a solid pro somewhere.Corp will be a solid NFL backup maybe even an adequate starter for a year or two if given the opportunity. And Greenwood is intriguing to me. Wish I could see more of him. I like tall CBs who can run and he fits the bill on that, plus he's been a shutdown corner at his level in college. Man, if we could get a starter caliber T in that range and move Clabo back to RG, that would be great. I really like the other two as well. Plus we've had success already from Richmond. He's a small school player in this draft, but he could have been a guy a lot of people would be talking about, coming from USC, if it hadn't been for his injury (IMO). My guess, even though most internet scouting services don't have him there, is that some team will take a flier on him late in the draft.
