Creative
As FA approaches and fans try to determine how valuable a player is to our team, a lot of really, really stupid things are said on here.Examples: Abe had a lot of sax vs bad teams he sux!!Abe gets like too sacks then none and then 2 again wow he blows!Decouud had the most INTS hes goodGriems dropped a cuple picks hes small and oldBreaking news: Football games have more than three plays. Players make impacts in ways that aren't on the stat sheet. This is a crazy concept around here, I know. The logic by some of you is that DeCoud had 4 INT's in his 965 snaps.. so therefore the other 961 are completely irrelevant./rant

Guest Gritz
My pet peeve is more generic than yours.....and it doesn't bother me a ton, just demonstrates that people have different levels of knowledge and understanding about what makes for a solid, successful NFL team:You can still check AFMB any day and see talk about getting this skill player or that skill player. The truth is that we have to have strength in our trenches, both offensive and defensive lines....There isn't nearly enough talk or time devoted to the discussion of that fact. Guest TheIdowu
I understand, OP. Trust me. I also agree with Gritz about the trenches and there needing to be more discussion here on that issue.

falconidae
Winston Churchhill defined a fanatic as someone who can't change his mind and won't change the subject. The agenda driven Ryan haters are my pet peeve. It's one thing to think Ryan has some flaws and needs to win a playoff game; it's another thing entirely to have 30-50 posts in every Ryan thread attacking him or to bring Ryan into an unrelated thread to attack him some more. ukfalc
My pet peeves are:-This board's obsession with overpsending on elite FA and expensive trades. The obsession with WR's and DE'sFans who are arrogant enough to think that they know better than the FO and coaching staff. We all have our own opinions, but at least be humble enough to recgnise that yours may be wrong and that a Gm isn't an idiot just becasue you don't like his moves. Mid-Nite-Toker
Fans that have to throw the past accomplishments or failures of the Falcons to justify the current regime. Likewise, throwing the entire team under the busto defend their favorite player/HC/GM. Furthermore, they offer up solid and established players as trade bait to fix the problems that the currentregime has caused...even flippant about it. As an old English major, I try to keep my criticisms of spelling & grammar to myself [see that couple who just came into the cleaners? They're here to pick up their shirts. The shirts are over there. Did you hear me? They're not bundled together, they're loose, don't lose any of them.]But some of them are so bad I have trouble understanding what they mean.
