falconidae
I actually think the Falcons will take a step back this year. First year under new systems on the first side of the ball, couple that with player turnover and a limited draft. If the Falcons somehow do make the playoffs I think they'll be one and done again. Mike Smith won't be fired but he will have to produce in 2013 or he will be shown the door. We'll have a full draft in 2013 and our players will be familiar with the system then. Now if we can't win a playoff game in 2013 then something I don't know what to say.I could be wrong but that's just how I see it.I really think that Nolan will be able to do what Phillips did for the Texan's D last year- immediately make it much better. Also think that Ryan will thrive in the new offense.I think where we differ is that I think there's more talent on the roster than many people do, that it was misused and undercoached. Expect much better coaching next year- can you imagine effective 3rd period adjustments? I can with this staff. If I'm right, Falcons can have a really good season next year despite all the changes.
