Steel City Falcon
I think the FO and Smith are over Turner as the work horse. But combine him with a guy like David Wilson they could have a lethal Smash and Dash combination. I've never been that high on Rogers as the answer to Turner's role reduction. Guest Negatorris
Doubt it, unless we address all our line problems in FA, and I mean ALL of them. Even if we do, we probably look at TEs before RBs.

We have a huge hole to fill when Tony is gone. We need another red-zone threat, and the TE is becoming the most dangerous position on offense. Turner still has a couple of years left, and Quizz is good and young. We can address that later, or possibly next season. I'd rather have a young TE to learn under Tony G. Any TE would love to learn under this guy.
Psychic Gibbon
I would vastly prefer if they took a RG, DT, DE, CB, or even a TE over an RB in the 2nd. You can pick up a good RB late in the draft these days.

hjerry
Demarco Murray is an easy example.Murray was taken in the 3rd round. Chris Polk's stock seems to be falling (for now), so he might be available in the 3rd.

YoungHeezy
I was leaning towards David Wilson initially but I'd like Coby Fleener with the pick

You are taking into consideration our needs of the future. We have dire needs on our OL and at DE, right now.The Falcons simply cannot afford to draft players in the second and third round who are going to sit on the bench for a year or two. Talented teams can do this, ours cannot. Whoever we get in FA or the draft, they need to at least play a lot right away. A backup TE and backup RB can wait for another off season. Master Exploder
David Wilson and Doug Martin are my 2 favorite RB's after Trent Richardson.I would love for us to take a chance on bringing Bryce Brown in as a camp body also, especially if the kid has 4.3/4.4 speed. Herr Doktor
A good offensive line can make an average running back look good. Do you think Emmit Smith is the all time leading rusher without that mammoth, all pro offensive line? No.

freebird310
Yea, lets keep on ignoring the offensive line so we can go 8-8 next year ...quit falling in love with skill players at that #2, if we do not use that pick to fortify the trenches, I will hurl myself off a fkng bridge ...... All the mocks I've done have had the Falcons going with a OG or a C but I'm just throwing Wilson out there. I'm actually hoping they can get Grubbs or Nicks (preferably Nicks) and then grab a center with that 2nd or 3rd rounder. That would challenge Hawley for the starting center spot if McClure isn't back and add depth to the O line.

Just LT. We constantly draft these OL who can't block for anything. Train them up and get a LT in the FA.

isproab
Like the guy, not sure he will be on the board for us. Honestly, depending on how he runs, will likely determine where he goes. The skill set is there, he is not a big guy, but Faulk was 5'10 and change and 205 when he left SDSU.Wilson does not have Faulk's resume, but 205 can become 210, maybe DeAngelo Williams is a better comparison, but he put up big numbers too at Memphis. You get the idea of the type of back he is.
