Where Can I Find "strengths And Weakness" Of This Draft Class?

Recommended Posts

I've been looking everywhere. I thought someone had posted on this but could not find it. I was thinking Walters had one also but looked and Nada. Looks to me like it's going to be deep in OL. Good for us but I think we need to take care of that with proven UFA pick ups. That is the biggest need at this time if you ask me. And this would be the safest way to fix our line so Matt can throw the ball. Did anybody else notice Eli having all day to throw the ball??? I think we should at least pick up one big time OL in Fa and then we can grab one in the draft. I still think Johnson can play. Sure would be nice if we could get the Ga boy.

I agree we can address our line early and we OL needs to be our top priority.

If you are looking at the positional strength and weaknesses of this draft I would say:

Strong Positions (no order):

OG

CB

DE/3-4 OLB

DT

LB

RB

WR

Mediocre Positions:

QB (no one pops out to me after Day 1)

OC (only 3-4 potential starter type)

Weak Positions:

S (worst I've seen in a while)

OT (especially LT)

Minnesota Vikings ready to trade away their 1st rnd pick (3rd Overall)

http://blogs.nfl.com...3-overall-pick/

Kalil stud LT is presumed to be the guy they'd pick up at that spot. Would Dimitroff broker a deal more aligned to player trades rather than draft picks in order to pick up Kalil?

We would have to do a sign and trade with Grimes or trade Roddy, to make this work. We have no other centerpieces besides them which are expendable.

No way will TD do that unless we trade a player we don't need or want to sling shot. He will be trying to find ways of getting more picks I think.

What would we give them? We traded two 1st rounders, a 2nd round, and two 4th rounders to move to no 6. To get to no 3, we would probably have to trade Roddy, Turner, our 2012 2nd round, our 2013 1st round, and it still might not be enough. Kalil is NOT worth it. No player in this draft is worth it.

Here's what Im thinking the Vikings are in dire dire need of Corners and Safeties.

So my first thought is Franchise Grimes

Then resign Decoud

Trade both of these guy and Dunta along with our 3rd and next years 2nd for Kalil.

All 3 of those guys are instant upgrades for the Vikings, We still keep our 2nd Round pick and the first next year.

In return we get Matt Kalil, then we could go OG in the 2nd, get a Slot corner in the 3rd and wing it with Owens and Franks starting (Both were great down the stretch and Owens seems to be a top 20 Corner on the outside, contrast he's a bottom 5 CB in the slot.) Of course we'd have to find somebody at FS.

Not bad, maybe we can get a real deal in a top G or a big time DL. I'm all about getting the guys up front first and you can get deals at he skill positions latter. I'd like to see this....

OT+C And RB as UFAs such as LT , a lot of good UFA at RB this year .. Good enough for a 2nd or 3rd RB.

2.DE

3.CB

5,G

6,DT

7.RB

LMAO

First you say to re-sign a UFA (Decoud) just so we can turn around and trade him. That's unrealistic to begin with.

To make it even worse, you then suggest we also throw in our two starting corners.

On top of ALL of that, you also think we should throw in this year's 3rd and next year's 2nd for an UNPROVEN player.

5 players - Decoud, Grimes, Robinson, a 3rd rounder, and a 2nd rounder - for an UNPROVEN player.

Rather than TRADING ALL OF THAT AWAY, how about we simply utilize FA for a PROVEN PLAYER that doesn't require losing any of our players or potential players (draft picks)?

This isn't Madden...and may God have mercy on your soul for such a ridiculous and incredibly idiotic post.

That was more of a joking response... do I really think we're trading up to #3 overall? **** no.
