PapaJoe
I've watched the practices on NFL Network and their Recaps, also read some observers/pundits written updates/blogs; here's my take on some prospects.Part 1 -QB: Cousins has improved his stock. Weedon is going to go no later than 2nd Rd; prolly the 4th QB drafted. Wilson will go late. Moore likely to get drafted but it's a virtual wasted pick IMHO.TE: Green is better than I expected; he's not a true TE but could be effective as a 'joker TE' getting moved around to take advantage of matchup mismatches on LBs and S. If he were 10 lbs. heavier and more physical in blocking I'd liek his potential a lot more.RB: This is a closely packed group for most part. Each of the following RBs have displayed something that indicates NFL contributor: Polk, Martin, Pead, Ballard, and Ganaway (must greatly improve his blocking skills)OL: I think the following have seen their stock rise. Glenn (seems able to play G or T pretty well), Adams, Sanders Edited January 26, 2012 by m2Falcons
jbrinson
Glenn has been beasting on all the best DT and DE. He dominated Upshaw, Copples, and Ingram
isproab
Glenn has been beasting on all the best DT and DE. He dominated Upshaw, Copples, and IngramI think Glenn looked great at LOT. If he could handle those DE's, granted none had an elite first step, I think he could handle most guys in the NFL. From the practices, I was not too impressed with Matt McCants (needs to get stronger) and Jeff Allen (looks like a guard). James Brown is 6' 3.5'' 307, but he looks small at OT. He played at guard but I'm not sure where he fits. Really like Zebrie Sanders, but not sure if he lasts until 55. Isaiah Pead looks like what we really need as a change of pace back. rcky_mtn_falcon
This is why I said I wanted to pick up Green late. Give him a year to bulk up and learn from Tony. He has the potential to be a stud.
