LOL at Jags fans saying he could compete to be their #4 or #5 WR.

they do realize how patheitc their WR corps is right?

dont think they do! Just goes to show fans reactions when they dont know a player or coach is un warrented, he easily could be thier number 2 receiver at worst, that said I hope we resign him, i can see him going some where else and becoming a beast in the slot.

Yeah, I think the conspiracy is a bit far fetched. TD scouted Douglas and chose to draft him. Smith has seen him every day in practice. As of now, Robiskie is still the WRs coach & has worked with Douglas for his entire career. MM doesn't have any insider info on Douglas. There are plenty of people on this staff that can evaluate Douglas's worth.

Besides, for your conspiracy to really hold any water, you'd have to say that MM knew several years ago he would be getting the Jags job this year. That's why MM caused HD to tear his ACL... so he wouldn't look good & get a long term deal w/ the Falcons. Then, MM would be able to whisk him away to Jacksonville, where Douglas would become the next Randy Moss in Mularkey & Brat's super explosive downfield passing attack offense.

So, now do you see how f'n ******** that conspiracy sounds?

I've asked this in other threads: Why would Douglas ever follow Mularkey to Jacksonville? Douglas suffered the most under Mularkey's terrible scheme and even if he's being promised a primary receiver role that offense is so awful that it wouldn't make a difference.

Why would Douglas want to follow a guy that never used him, to a team that can't win games or fill its stadium?

There was a tweet that rebuilding their WR core was the main focus.

Supposedly they are gonna spend the bank in FA`s this year, so expect them to make a big splash hogging people up.

If that is the case I could see them going hard at any good OL free agents. They better not put Gabbert rhought another sack-fest this season, or I predict it will be his last season ever as a starting QB. He is showing the fear that ruined Harrington and Carr's careers.

They need to get a couple stud OG's and a top tier WR in there.

sign Carl Nicks

sign Jared Gaither

draft the top WR in round one

sign DeSean Jackson

then after all that, when they still suck....they will realize it was Gabbert, not just those around him!

We need to get HD signed fast. Koetter will need him. Jones was hurt, White was banged up some and HD stepped in and thats with conservative style. If Koetters playbook opens up and uses him more he will be missed greatly. He isnt selfish, you never hear anything bad about him he just comes in and contributes when needed.

Pay the man!!!! If White regresses we may need him to fill in more at #2. I love our 3 wr`s and id hate to lose any of them now.

The playbook is Mike Smith's.

The sooner yall learn that the better off we all will be.

MM is not as conservative as Smitty. Trust me.

Have you listened to any of Mularkey's press conferences? He was scared of the Giants and pretty much admitted it. Mularkey tanked the game because he didn't like the matchup.

I know that. But im hoping Koetter has something up his sleeve. Between him and Ryan Smith should listen. If Smith brought Koetter in to do nothing but add screens, then its on him when he gets himself fired. Best weapons we have are at WR and we need to use them more even if its a conservative style. Rotate them in and out or different positions to force mismatches.
