pren226
Please no more overpaid contracts for underperforming players! I can't take it anymore!I understand these feelings, and most times people are talking about Dunta and Ray Ed, but at the time they were the "top" players at their position available in FA. I know CJ was there with Edwards but we would have had to pay thru the roof for him. As far as Dunta, at the time, the consesus was he was the best option to go for. I know Dunta and Ray haven't lived up to what everyone believed they would, but TD went out and grabbed the best player available at those spots, or so we thought. Is it sad or wrong of me to have already given up on and moved on from Dunta and Ray Edwards?I can't stand to see either one of them in a Falcon uni....... I feel you man, but at the same time people were saying Babin was a 1 hit wonder and it was all due to the system he was in. That was hanging over his head. There weren't a lot of great options period. I know they haven't panned out as of yet how we would like, but I'm at least happy with the thought. TD recognized we had problems in those areas and at least tried to address those with what people believed to be some of the best options via Free Agency. Didn't pan out the best for TD yet (maybe Nolan can work some magic) but I'm happy he and AB will "try" to fix what they deem a problem vs not doing anything at all like some teams. Despite TD's horrible free agent evaluation skills it is the thought that counts and hopefully Nolan can come in and clean this mess of a defense that TD left us. Tallahassee
I'm happy we're actually going to have a real FA period this year....The new coordinators is exactly what this team needed. Not a complete change in course a la a new coach, but someone with new ideas, and a new direction.
pzummo
I think it's March 5th for your own FA's and March 12th for FA's of other teams.

Francis York Morgan
If he did extensive research he would have known that these were overhyped players and I was personally pulling for us to grab Babin. Babin sucks. Our run D would be about 5 spots lower at least, and the only reason he gets sacks is because of the wide 9 scheme and only rushing the passer...we might do better if we implemented that because we have good LBs, but I don't feel like Babin's anything special personally. SwampyMux12
I'd love to see Darrin Walls and Suaesi Tuimaunei getting some PT in the secondary this year!!
*TMo*
I'm holding my opinion till I see Dunta Robinson in press coverage in Mike Nolan's system. I also am curious to see where Ray Edwards fits into Nolan's scheme and whether or not he can be relevant with this change.
Rajhae Battle
yeah i want to wait in see if Nolan can get better results out of our big money f/a before letting them go. If they fail under a new system then we can look at cutting losses
