silentbob1272
There was some of the typical **** talking nonsense you'd expect from them, but for the most part they are discussing this with clear heads. One post stood out with Spags set to interview with NO tomorrow, good stuff:This SPAGS sweepstakes is ridiculous. This is a guy thats only had one successful year as a defensive coordinator. In 2007 he created a mediocre defense that got really hot in the playoffs and superbowl and after watching the exact same team on the way to duplicating that exact same season these past weeks it looks like Tom Coughlin might deserve the credit not Steve Spagnulo. His Rams defense sucked and the defense helped coach in Philly sucked. This guy is going to be a waste. Mike Nolan on the other hand has consistently built top 10 defenses and now he's going to our rivals. Don't be Scared to convert to a 3-4. The Texans got a lot of crap for making Brian Cushing a MLB and Mario Williams an OLB but now look at that D.
Quintorris_11_Jones
They just scared because the "soft zone" will more than likely be gone and we will have a much higher blitz ratio now that Nolan has taken over. We will have Brees running for his pathetic life game after game.
madman88
Nolan likes to play man so we will see now if this dunta signing will ever come to furition

silentbob1272
Nolan likes to play man so we will see now if this dunta signing will ever come to furitionThis is what I want to see. He was decent (even above so) in Houston, I just find it hard to believe that his talent just disappeared at the same time he came into BVG's soft and mellow zone coverage. He was pretty good in man coverage, curious to see the difference next season.

maorifalcon
Look forward to our corners jamming at the line, now so more than ever I won't mind grimes leaving...Owens is far more physical and can hold his own on the outside....sucks at nickel
Quintorris_11_Jones
If he continues to fall down on every play I refuse to stop calling him SLIP AND SLIDE. It might of not caught on around here but myself and a few of my friends call him slip and slide because he is on the ground every single play sliding all over the place! sanfranfalcon
may the BEST CBs line up for us next season. if Dunta ain't one of 'em then i hope the 'fresh eyes' calls it like it really is...i think Grimes will be gettin' paid elsewhere next season... Francis York Morgan
I love reading that reaction. The swamprats are so football-******** that they think Nolan won't do all that well here, and they didn't want him there? Well, our D has a bunch more talent than theirs, and with a great DC like this, we have the potential to be scary.

But im pretty sure by now even he believes he might have over paid for dunta services...

This concerns me as well i mean i thought dunta could open up and run better then that...But yea he stay on the ground... As much as he is on the ground do u realize he is the only one that always seem to let his man loose in coverage?? That 72 yard play nicks did was directly his fault... And he is suppose to be our #q cb?? yea ok grimey please take the dammm discount Edited January 18, 2012 by madman88
