Koetter: Are we going to be a vertical passing team? Are we going to be a no-huddle team? To be successful you have to be able to do it all.

I don't remember a screen pass going to Turner ever ... I'm a little nervous ...

Turner should never be used with a screen. He's can't take off quick enough. He'll get tackled before even tacking a step.

I asked the question about the No-Huddle. But I dont see my other 2 questions asked:

1. Is he designing a new Playbook for the Falcons, or is he just bringing the Jags playbook here.

2. What ways will his offense differe from Mularkey's.

he answered your question in the very beginning. It's even on the front page of AF.com. He says he will mix what he has done in the past with what the Falcons do well. A combination of the two basically.

Answer to playbook question was he was going to obviously continue to build upon what's here. He was going to incorporate screens and the vertical game by use of passing concepts and a route tree. Using concepts allows more flexibility for personnel groupings to be able to adapt to play changes and still have effective route combos no matter who is in at the time.

Guess my question didn't get asked????

"Why the F would the Falcons, or any NFL team, hire you after the way Jacksonville's offense went into the toilet after you arrived 5 years ago"?

And

"After 5 years of failure in Jacksonvile, do you think that your offense is a college level offense that just doesn't work in the NFL"?
