Bring It 3,049
2011 NFL Season.A huge disappointing year for Falcon fans. But take a step back and look at how truly weird the NFL can get. 2011 weird.Drew Brees in his last two games passes for 928 yards and 7 TD's but only wins one of 'em and is now home eating Beignets at Cafe Du Monde.Aaron Rodgers still doesn't know what hit 'em...............and his Pack. Has to cancel 25 rooms he reserved for the Super Bowl in Indy. The Steelers. They actually lost to a Prophet in sandals who now plays QB someplace in Colorado. Go figure. Some kid who 9 months ago was considered the "Bust of the Bay" will have a legit shot at going to the SB as the QB of the 49'ers...................who won a whopping 6 games a year ago. Alex Smith will be in the NFC Champ. game next sunday, Brees and Rodgers will be watching on TV.....................or on a golf course.Rex Ryan, big mouth Jets HC, said a month ago that the Giants weren't even the best team in New York City. Right. Then you have possibly the best QB ever to play the game at home in Indianapolis the entire 2011 season, never to play in one game. This was the 2011 season...................in part. Beyond weird. Our Falcons were only a part of it. They added their contribution to the circus. Can you add more to the story ?? Have at it !!

How about this...His RB led the leage in rushing, and was the only threat on offense they had. Pretty good job, I think.

jm_falcons 492
The bottom line is that TD and Smith are not beyond being fired....and they certainly know this. Therefore...they are making the best decisions that they can....in there minds anyway. When Smith was hired...I did not like it at all. Say what you want but back to back appearances in the playoffs were unheard of prior to his arrival.

Duff_Man 12,091
Three teams that run the ball well and play defense are in the Conference Championships. Crazy.

Sooner or later the world is going to realize they lead the NFL in one category only :BEING OVERRATED.
