After the season ended Arthur Blank said....

"good is not good enough"

Mr Blank how can you say with a straight face

that today's OC hire fits in with your statement

This hire is at best a lateral move and it cannot be supported by any data that this is a progressive step in the right direction and - at best - we will

be only as good ( and boring) offensively as we have been under MM

**** Mojo, you and I agree 100% on something.

Blank falls for a good interview every time. Jim Mora is a prime example.

Here is an excerpt from the interview:

Blah, blah, blah, VERTICAL, blah, blah, blah EXPLOSIVE, blah, blah, blah, SCREEN PASS, blah, blah PROCESS

VERTICAL + EXPLOSIVE+ SCREEN PASS/ PROCESS = PROFITS

SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!

Awesome, another lame post from people that think they know what they're talking about. I Love when fans think they know so much more than the people who actually do it for a living.

If you think it's lame for fans to be expressing their opinions, the message board thing probably isn't for you.

Ive actually had my sig in for 4 years now.............Ive found out that these guys who actually do this for a living, can get fired just like me, can make mistakes just like me, because they are men just like me, and if you dont know by now there are many people in this world with a job they should not have because they dont know how or cant do the job period.

Judging by the records, Mularkey looks FAR BETTER on paper.

This is a 'Good 'ol boy' hire by Smith to surround himself with a buddy.

I find this hard to believe. Smith will have his job on the line if this doesn't work out, I will admit I am also surprised at the pick but keep in mind when our Head Coach was hired I remember the same thoughts about him expressed here on these boards and that actually worked out so having said that I will wait and see

TD & M.Smith agreed on this hire. MR.Blank is "trusting" his employees to do their job and not micro-managing them. He learned from the Mora Jr. interview fiasco.

Just so we are clear. TD gets as much credit/blame as M.Smith, if not more. B/c it should be up to the GM to overrule a "questionable" suggestion from the HC, regarding hiring a buddy.
