fansince78 Posted January 15, 2012 Share Posted January 15, 2012 Today was the first of what I expect to be several announcements by the Falcons that have us saying, WTF are they thinking? Maybe we will get lucky and when the DC is introduced, he will be someone that most of us can feel good about, maybe not. The draft may be something that leaves us wondering why they used their limited picks for the players they choose and maybe even the positions. There may be a trade or two that forces us to watch one of our best players go to another team. We may sign a FA that is not worth half of what he gets off the cap and we might go into the season with the team searching for it's identity.It really isn't so different from any other off season for Falcon fans if you think about it. It's exhausting and depressing to be a Falcons fan most of the time, and I'm tired of being let down. I will be a Falcons fan forever regardless but man would I love a championship and to be serious contenders for a period of 4-5 years.
