Simicager
We need someone faster and one who hits the hole hard. A pass catching rb would be nice. Its time to move on.

Showtyme8383
I agree, but disagree. We need multiple backs, and Turner has a solid role. What we do need is a slasher, pass recieving RB that can cause match-up problems. We do have Quizz...but do we let Snelling go and get another "Factor" back?? 408Falcon
Trippin Bro. We just need another back to compliment him. Even then we are developing Rodgers and Snelling is a beast...If we can trade him and get something meaningful then maybe. But right now he is not a problem for us. Its how we use him. On some of those 4th and Inches it would be nice to trust someone to get us the inches, but when you give Turner the ball 3 yds behind the line of scrimmage its tough. We are good at RB tho. Alot better than most. Dude should be a probowler again with his stats.

Carl927
We need to run by committee. We're far too predictable when it comes to Turner. If it's first or second down and he's on the field, we're running between the tackles and everybody and their dog knows it's coming. Give Quizz or Julio a screen. Let Julio do his thing with the reverse. Let Snelling pound one. Lessen the load on Turner and he'll be more effective. The general consensus is that Turner needs a lot of carries to be effective and help Atlanta win, but Turner often gets stuffed. He'll break a few long runs and up his average every dozen or so attempts. I say that average can increase when defenses have to account for more than a couple of tackles trying to block for a Turner rush up the gut. Aftermath
Yes we need a good 3rd down back. The fact that we need a third down back at all means Turner needs to go, 3rd down isn't the only down a team should be able to get the RB into the passing game. Turner's fat azz is too one dimensional and as of late he hasn't even done that very well, aside from busting out against bad teams.
Trouble
Yeah i think Snelling is going. At the press conference they said they have to limit Turners carries and had brought Rodgers in as a change of pace back. No mention of Snelling at all.We don't need 3 power backs. Even if snelling the best all around back we have. Edited January 12, 2012 by danight
Matty_Ice
Should be gone but probably wont.
Trouble
Should be gone but probably wont.He might stay if his price stays low. If he gets offered some money to leave, i doubt we will go out our way to keep him with as many FA`s as we have and other needs.
#1 pick
He's the leading rusher in the NFC.
Faithful Falcon
He's the leading rusher in the NFC.And??? When we lose a bunch of games because we can't block or run the ball. What does that tell you? Either the OL is terrible, or the RB is not doing so hot.
HouseofEuphoria
And??? When we lose a bunch of games because we can't block or run the ball. What does that tell you? Either the OL is terrible, or the RB is not doing so hot.It tells me we never used the horizontal runs, sweeps or screens at all. There's more than one way to wear a defense down with a strong running game. With Turner we are somewhat limited to off-gaurd, off-tackle runs to pound the middle of the defense. But stretching the defense out from side to side tires them out just as easily.Hopefully our new OC understands this. FlyHighFalcons
This attitude is one of the dumbest on the board. Up there with trade Ryan or trade Roddy. Turner is an absolute beast for us. He runs well and consistently. We will not get a better guy.Only situation I'd go for is Michael Turner for Steven Jackson.
