Orson Charles Is Making Official What We All Thought Would Happen

I'm pretty sure our coaches knew exactly what Orson Charles was capable of. He's a more complete TE because of his time with this team... he got a lot of work on blocking purely out of necessity. He wouldn't have gotten that at Clemson or Auburn and he'll have to do it a lot in the NFL. He'll be the best TE in this draft regardless of who goes before him at his position.

yeah I don't doubt that he's a better TE because of his time at Georgia, but I'm just saying he could have been a crazy stat producer in one of those offenses.

yep our coaches knew how to use him and he caught plenty of passes, but as a TE you have to block as well and he we double teamed often. that was why our young wideouts were as open as they were. we will miss him because he received sooo much attention every play.

Totally agree with you there... wasn't arguing with you man, just making a point to Gritz who seems to believe Orson wasted his time here.

Yep, he was a huge threat just with his presence on the field... defenses had to respect him and it allowed our fresh group of WRs to have pretty good seasons. I will definitely miss having Orson Charles on the field and a part of this team... DGD for sure.

Where did I say that he wasted his time at UGA? All I said was that his athleticism was never used to it's full potential. He could very well end up being a better NFL player than he ever was in college.
