Herr Doktor
Martz is not the answer. Ryan is not his style of QB.
Thelonious Mingus
He is our best choice at OC.He would change this offense around.Martz is not the answer. Ryan is not his style of QB.Kitna was? Kitna put up career numbers under Martz.
PeytonMannings Forehead
Here's the problem with Mike Martz, and it has been one since he became an OC with the Rams -- he doesn't believe in pass protection. It's always been an afterthought. Every quarterback he has ever had has been run down because they've had the sh!t kicked out of them with the 7 step drops and having to hold the ball for those patented deep digs. Not exactly the ideal formula to bring to Atlanta with this offensive line that has always been lacking in pass protection.

root down
with this line.....yeah 7 step drops is what we need. Martz has failed, quit, or been fired everywhere. Except with the greatest show on turf. I think it might have had something to do with the players....no thanks
Farmer2
Not unless Martz is bringing w/ him 5 offensive linemen and a pass catching RB.

Dharma Initiative
In an era where teams are passing like crazy it's not a horrible idea. However he is on the extreme of deep passes and his QB's get pancaked nonstop. But Orton, Cutler, and Warner put up their best numbers under him.

We do not have the right personnel to bring in Mike Martz. He will not be brought in here, please move along.
JBourneMurkedU
Martz is known for getting his QB's killed, and quickly wore out his welcome in Chicago. He's a stubborn OC who doesn't have a balanced attack. No thanks!

Even if you 100% right, Gonzo has what 1 more year?
pr0d1gy
How is it nobody notices that this guy gets his QB's killed everywhere he goes? Besides that, he just isn't that good. Like Brian Billick he has profitted from having the most talented offense in the league during his OC stint and has somehow managed to stay popular with "football people" despite the fact that he has had maybe one or two seasons in the last decade where his QB played every game. His production does not match his demand as an OC at all, and I could definitely see the Falcons going after him since picking up underachieving, overpriced talent is what this team is about. Thelonious Mingus
We don't need Martz. We really do. He is a tons better as a OC than Mularkey. The defense on the other hands.....
KGrillz
Ryan's arm isn't strong enough to run stretch the field. Plus we would need an OL like the Saints or Pats.
rightsaidfred
Martz doesn't use TE's in his scheme. That's why he let them be traded away in CHI. ATL just gave TG a big contract. Not gonna sit him next year

SYD
With this oline Ryan would get his career ended by injury in 3 games with Martz. His scheme has not worked in a decade and all his QB's get injured badly. His sceme kills QB we do not want him here. Part of the reason Chicago got rid of him Cutler ended up on IR and the bears tanked their season.
