JG2008
Unfortunately The UGLY TRUTH about Michael TurnerTurner is only good against average to bad teamsHis Rushing titles and stats are VERY mis-leadingHe makes up for his miserable showings against good teams by having great to monster games against avg to bad teamsDont believe me---Go back and check his rushing (since he has been here) against playoff contender teams that we played in each year ---not playoff teams the previous year but the good playoff bound teams in the same year that you are loookingYeah--its not all his fault as our Offensive Line doesnt do good run blocking against playoff caliber teams either
~SEAMILL~
You need a dynamic RB these days. He isnt it. Trade him while he still has value.

I just don't know why people think you can run through holes that arn't there. We have a power running back behind the softest oline in the league. Dirty8irds12
Embarrassment. Should've of given our wild card spot to a team that is more deserving. A team that can put up more than 2 points. Weak and always will be WEAK!

ltstorm2
We also have a soft *** running back.If i'm not mistaken Turner had more yards after contact than any other RB in the league. I'd agree with you if other teams DT's and safeties didn't have a vacation home in our backfield.

He might have more yards after contact than any other RB but he doesn't show up against good teams it seems or we just don't use him against good teams. The line can't block but he has 0 explosiveness.
Darkflight
I've been saying it all season. Turner is one dimensional and it hurts every aspect of our offense. Too predictable with him in the game. His inability to run with any speed east to west makes the offense easy to stop with a decent defense. ~SEAMILL~
I agree our line sucks, but when Turner is in the playcalling is too obvious. I like him, I appreciate him coming here when no hope was in sight....but he is not untouchable. If the Pats can trade Seymour we can trade Turner. Even if we had a guy who was shifty, they'd have to bounce everything outside because they sure wouldn't be getting any push behind our line. THE ICEMAN
The thing that kills turner aginst good teams is he can't catch the ball so when he in he's either runing it or pass blocking plus he just doesn't have the speed he use to but still is pretty effective. paulitik
Turner is a great RB, but we have no real alternative when the power run game is stalled. He's a one trick pony. Turner can't get around the edge like Foster is so good at. If we could throw a screen pass it would compensate for Turner's weaknesses. The fact is, the coaching staff won't spread the defense. This is a coaching issue. Pure and simple. Execution has been the excuse for the last 2 playoff losses. This game is 100% coaching.

We have to leave in at least 1 TE & against good DL's we have to get 2 TE's often.

Rise Up Birds
Turner is slow and useless just think about how different our team would be with a running back out of the woodworks like an Arian Foster or a Jamaal Charles...There are good RBs everywhere

We have a power running back behind the softest oline in the league.Lets be honest...Holes shouldn't have to stay open for the length of time required for his slow azz to get through them. And once those holes close, he doesnt have the ability to cut or slash to pick up extra chunks.
