Falconcheff
Sorry it ended the way it did.For all the slugs in TATF....tough shitniski and choke on it.Thanks Ray.This hurt my soul.I almost can't do this anymore. That was just... I don't evemn know.I had a great day at the wedding show, booked a couple af big jobs, then came home to witness THAT??0, a big fat goose egg from the offense. 2 points is almost worse than a shutout.Good show to the saints. I'm pretty depressed; and it takes A LOT to get a happy guy like me down. The post interviews is what really did it. They act like they just need to learn and move on to next year. If that's the attitude, I want the whole **** staff gone.Mike Smith has shown he doesn't know what his team is capable... or incapable of... in any given stuationMularkey had better take whatever comes his way soon... He's a guaranteed casualty. 0 points from the offense is ... F it.When I told my wife how much that performance cut me to the core, she said, "I'm sure the players feel worse."I told her that she didn't know anything about what it means to be a fan of a team for twenty five years. I've been a fan longer than Arthur Blank has owned the team; I love them more than even he does. Every player on the team will come and go eventually... I love the Falcons more than any member of the current team dows. Every coach will come and go... I love my Falcons more than the Head Caoch, or any assistant does or ever will. That performance was just shitting on us real fans.Ray, you guys are having a great run with Brees and payton, but you know the pain of what came before. I appreciate your temperance.Buccs fans and Panther fans, what can I say? I would rather have had the seasons you had than put up this embarrassment the falcons gave us tonight. I apologize for the ******** my team gave me the false confidence to lay.Post what you want; say what you want. You'll get no argument from me.There is no defense for this team. There is no hope for this team. There is only... "almost was" or "what could have been"Smith has to go. Mularkey has to go. BVG has to go.Give me Billick, Spagnuolo, and Gruden, or don't give me any ******* thing at all.I'll see you guys around. These may be my last few posts. There's just nothing more to say. ThunderCookie
Sorry it ended the way it did.For all the slugs in TATF....tough shitniski and choke on it.You know, the difference between our two teams were exemplified by two plays this weekend:1. Brees leaping in the air, ball stretched out, ignoring the risk of a fumble, willing to risk it all just to make the play.2. Falcons have empty backfield removing the need to defend the edges, Ryan stood up with ball tight against his chest more worried about making a mistake than a first down. This is the difference between good and great. The difference between winning teams and Championship winning teams. And thanks for the condolences, very stand up thing to do.
Dago 3.0
Yah I can understand how some of the Falcons fans would need a break after that. That loss was definitely a reminder of some of our previous playoffs games.....losses that were so bad that I hate the Eagles and Vikings to this day. As much as I hate the Falcons team there are some good posters in here who didn't deserve to be put through thatMakes me even more grateful for Rita Benson, Mickey 'Let's Make a Deal' Loomis, and Sean Payton Edited January 9, 2012 by Dago 3.

Theres' nothing to say. It's not the end of the world. No one wants to see their team lose. I remember at a point in the Seahawks game last playoff where I was ready to give up at how bad our secondary was playing. Harper clearly played the worse game of his career. So I know how Falcons fans feel. Like I said, it's not the end of the world. Unless you think all this 2012 stuff is real. Keep in mind what Smith has done and where the Falcons were before he was hired.

fuq u
We didn't show up to play, plain and simple. I don't have any excusses other than we just plain SUCKED!!! No silver lining, no wait til' next year, no if's, ands, or buts for next year. We just plain ol' SUCKED!! Just not quite enough not to make it to the playoffs. Now maybe we'll do something about this 70s offensive scheme.
