Bulldog1950
or even Matt Stafford? This weekend will be very interesting to see who emerges in the playoffs. Matt Ryan has the easiest chance of the three considering experience and the teams they play today. Although there is this thing called Tebow time and Stafford is already putting up record numbers and is right there with Drew Brees throwing the ball. paulitik
Not to take away from Stafford had no running game, and is in a more pass friendly offense. The shootout with Green Bay was the only reason he hit 5K. he probably would have ended at about 4700, if not for Matt Flynn picking apart the secondary. If Denver wins, it will be in spite of Tebow, not for anything he did. The Steelers offense is seriously injured. No Mendenhall, Big Ben is probably at 50%, considering he can't move around, and their RB coach is in the burn unit. The Steelers are seriously compromised, and will probably still destroy the Broncos.Remember Dilfer got cut after winning a Super Bowl. This whole playoff debate is stupid. Manning didn't win crap until his 5th year. Matt Ryan is a great QB. Win or lose.I think as we see Julio develop, Matt will be pushing the 5K mark very soon. Snowen
all depends on the coaches behind them.Stafford should get his first playoff win tonight. If not tonight, definitely next year.Tebow probably wont get it tonight, but if he is somehow on the team next year and shows any improvement, next year with John Fox. Probably as a backup QB, but the Broncos will win their division and potentially have a playoff win depending who they face next year (steelers are tough)Matt Ryan will get one and more next year if MM and BVG are replaced; if they are not replaced, Matt Ryan will get one when he is traded in 2016. But I can see it happening just because of his arm and if Dree Brees lays an egg.
vdove0926
I think Stafford will get his first win tonight if they can protect him. Calin Johnson is too much of a dominant player to shut down. Give Stafford time and Calvin will feast.
jfalconsp
Please, Matt Ryan by a landslide. Tim Tebow is fascinating, yes. But I can't see him succeeding with triple option longer than maybe one more season at best. Defenses will begin to be able to prepare better and will eventually shut that down. number10
If Tebow loses, oh excuse me, the Broncos lose, someone better open up the gates because the flood of excuses will overflow. I'd love to see the Lions crush the Saints for a number of reasons. Number one, just pure hatred of the Saints, but also my wife and inlaws are all from MI so I've enjoyed seeing the Lions come back from the bottom to get into the playoffs. PokerSteve
I think it's a pretty safe bet the Tebow Era will be ending very, very soon, at least in terms of him being a QB in the NFL. It's a much better debate to consider who will have the most success between Matt S. and Matt R. And because of the ultra-conservative philosophy of Mike Smith, I'm afraid I'd have to give the nod to Stafford.
delaigle
Ryan, Tebow, Stafford ------------------and all this is important BECAUSE???????????

Give Stafford time and Calvin will feast.Johnson and Stafford won't be enough. The Lions defense is going to have to play very physical and without penalties. Then you have to factor in the refs turning a blind eye on the Saints, while rewarding the Saints with a couple of bogus calls like they seem to always do. Faithful Falcon
No way Stafford SHOULD win in New Orleans tonight. But I can see it happening just because of his arm and if Dree Brees lays an egg.I don't know. You know, if Megatron is playing well, there is no one on the Saints that can stop him. Detroit's problem is their running game. Suh is back for this game. Roger Goodell gave the Saints a blessing with Suh's suspension. Not saying that he should have not been suspended, but I have seen them happen later. His started almost in the same game.

Unless that first penalty is ripping the QB's head off. Then they could cruise.
TeamPlayer1
I really like Tim Tebow and the strength of his convictions but his QB skills are like a dog walking on his hind legs. It's fascinating but you know he can't keep it up!
Trouble
It would be a sign, more people here need to go to church and learn how to prey more. (Any reason is a good reason to start going to church and to prey. Even if it is for a falcons win.)If we win, i hope tebow wins... id like to see the broncons in the superbowl rematch!!!!! Yes revenge is a dish best served old. (better late than never). If we lose i hope the pats go and take out GB.But i was talking to my saints friend today and think this could be odd if the saints go.They opened the season vs the pack and could be in the NFC championship rematch vs the pack. But if the falcons cant win, i hope no one from the NFC does. (ill prey for that!)
Durrtay
Is this a serious question? Ryan is on the better team and a much better qb by far... No way he has less career success than tebow. They were even talking about how the back up in Denver has been taking half the snaps this week in practice on

Durrtay
denver gets a real qb and tebow is gone... this is probably his only chance for playoff success and I meant playoffs with my answer
Guest Negatorris
Stafford is gonna be elite, but I can see he's gonna be injury prone unlike the other elites. Tebow can't be compared to Ryan.
