Peyton
Just some random fun facts that don't mean anything, but might make you feel good anyway. The Giants are 3-1 on the road in the playoffs under Coughlin and Manning (all in 2007), but they are 0-2 at home in the playoffs under those two. Both of the years the Giants lost at home in the playoffs (2006, 2008), they were division champs and favored. The Giants were outscored a combined 46-11 in those two home losses to the Panthers (23-0) and Eagles (23-11).The Falcons have actually won a road playoff game (2002) more recently than the Giants have won a home playoff game (2000).Home playoff teams in the NFL are only 21-19 over the last 4 seasons so home field advantage is virtually non-existant in the playoffs anyway. Home field might even have a negative effect when you consider that the better teams are normally playing at home. It would seem that the road team is often playing looser.None of these stats really mean anything at all, but I do hope that they make you feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. If not, you can always pick up a bottle of Boone's Farm or M/D 20/20 from the corner store, that will do the trick. Carl927
Another interesting fact:Manning was 0 for 2 in his first playoff appearances, until finally shaking that monkey off his back in an unlikely road path to the Superbowl.

Peyton
Going for twoHey I like Eli Manning a lot. In fact, if the Giants beat the Falcons, I'll be rooting for the Giants to go all the way.But I'll be rooting against him hard on Sunday. I hope we get the unlucky Eli that has passes go directly through his receivers hands and into the defensive backs arms this Sunday. That seems to be how most of Eli's picks work these days.
