Congrats on your playoff birth.

Just a few questions about your squad.

What is your weakness on offense and defense? What are your strengths?

What injury concerns do you have for the game?

Do you think Ryan is better then Manning as a QB?

Do you like Roddy and Julio over Hakeem and Victor?

Will you have any kind of pass rush?

Are you good at stopping the run?

Does your defense cause a bunch of turnovers via INTs and fumbles?

Thanks!

Injury news for the GMEN. Bradshaw and Osi will be playing. Ballard will most likely give it a go, as he is practicing although limited. Herzlich is going to try but probably is unlikely. Other then that we are good to go outside of the 100 guys we have on IR :-) .

I expect a great close game. Hopefully no injuries.

My brief recap of our team:

We will struggle most in pass protection with our O-line. It hasn't been the best all year and with your D-line this will only be magnified. Our O-line does play solid in the run game.

I would say our weakness on defense is the lack of pressure on the QB and our 3rd down defense...teams convert 3rd and longs on us at ease.

Our strength on offense is that we have so many playmakers that it isn't difficult to find favorable matchups with Tony G, Roddy, Julio, Turner.

Our strength on defense is probably our LB corps. Lofton and Weatherspoon have played lights out this year. The giants will have a difficult time running the ball on our D.

Your passing attack is what can present problems. Our pass defense tends to struggle (goes back to my previous statement about lack of pressure on the QB)

I would say Julio and Roddy are even with Nicks, and Cruz

Basically, i think this game comes down to whichever QB can play better in the 4th quarter.

Offense weakness is OL and drops. We have improved though.

What injury concerns do you have for the game?

Spoon is listed with a "head" injury. He's our best player on defense.

Do you think Ryan is better then Manning as a QB?

I think they are different and ultimately pretty comparable. Eli is higher risk/reward, while Ryan likes to take what the defense give him. Both can win you a game in the 4th quarter.

Do you like Roddy and Julio over Hakeem and Victor?

Yes, but mostly because we have Gonzo as a third option and our slot WR Douglas has flashed on several occasions. Julio might just be the best of the bunch but he's been up and down (rookie mistakes).

Will you have any kind of pass rush?

Abe is just rounding into form since his injury in week 1. Other than that it will be up to your OL play.

Are you good at stopping the run?

Yes.

Does your defense cause a bunch of turnovers via INTs and fumbles?

We're pretty good. We play zone, let our dbs stay back and look into the backfield. The result is giving up a higher completion percentage but also being in position to take advantage of mistakes. Abe is great at stripping the ball.

Thanks!

Just asked this in another thread. Would like to hear what NYG fans think-

Do you guys have any receievers outside of Nicks & Cruz? I mean, what is to stop a team from rolling coverage towards each of them? Your OL is weak and your run game is weak. If a team decides to take away those two guys how do you think your offense would respond? Just throw into coverage and hope for the best?

Congrats on your playoff birth.

Just a few questions about your squad.

What is your weakness on offense and defense? offensive line and pass coverage What are your strengths? can spread the ball around and move the chains; Turner will wear teams down in the 2nd half; Defense can stop the run

What injury concerns do you have for the game? Brent Grimes is our best CB; led the league in PDF's last year. Very thin at that position.

Do you think Ryan is better then Manning as a QB? I think Ryan is better at handling pressure and plays smart football. Manning will take more shots downfield but I believe if the pressure is there he will make more mistakes than Ryan. Both are good in 4th Qtr comebacks.

Do you like Roddy and Julio over Hakeem and Victor? Hakeem and Cruz are very talented and can make plays but I don't think enough people respect what Julio can do and will overlook a very speedy Douglas in the slot. As long as Roddy catches the ball he will make his catches.

Will you have any kind of pass rush? There is somewhat of a pass rush but they don't convert to sacks. They rotate the Dline frequently.

Are you good at stopping the run? Yes. I attribute this vast improvement mainly due to Weatherspoon. He will be all over the field. You may even hear a small rumbling of "Spooon" in the stands on Sunday.

Does your defense cause a bunch of turnovers via INTs and fumbles? I believe they are ranked 10th in turnovers.

Thanks!

Yes we do. Mario Manningham, but he has been up and down all year. Ballard is he comes back and plays is also a threat. He is slow as **** but somehow is always open. He runs great routes and Eli has been able to hit him in stride. Other then that, we just found out our rookie FB, Hynoski, can catch the ball better then I remember any FB the Giants ever had. WE beat Dallas a few times using him out of the backfield if the RB was covered on a screen. Guys like Ramses Barden / Devin Thomas / Jerrel Jernigan / Beckum are always good for a catch here and there but nothing crazy. Giants will use a bunch of shotgun spead offense ging Eli the option for the delay draw, which I guarentee you will see a bunch on 2nd downs, or pull it back and fire it downfield and let Cruz and Nicks do there things. Im mostly worried about our run game. The pass blocking has been solid, but our run blocking is horrible, hence last in the league in rushing.
