DarkFalcon
Everyone is talking about how hot the Giants are, but we are just as, if not hotter than them. Yea we got blownout in NO but our offense, Matt Ryan in particular played pretty well. Look at the last several games. We've been as impressive as any team in a 3-4 game stretch. I really believe this is the year we win atleast 1 playoff game.

paulitik
Same reason why when players whine about our team, we are dirty, yet when we call out other teams, we are whiners. The media just isn't on our bandwagon. It'll take a couple championships or some natural disaster to get them on our side.
DarkFalcon
Are you a new fan of the team?Actually no. I've lurked here for quite a while before finally making a profile. I'm not as old as a lot of people here (16) but I'm passionate about my Falcons football. Been a fan since 03-04 I believe.

root down
cuz of history. The falcons crapping the bed, in primetime big games? A Certain level of respect is given. The falcons losing the The Cards, in the playoffs. getting destroyed at home by the pack. losing again to the pack in the reg season. Losing at home to the Saints. Getting destroyed by the saints.until the team consistently earns respect. It will not be given. They are in control.
Peyton
Well they have played their best the last two weeks, but mostly it's because they are in New York City.To the media, everything in New York City is more important than stuff that is anywhere else. Mega Flare
The media just isn't on our bandwagon. CrimsonFalcon
I just realized something and really hope that trend ends this weekend.2009-Falcons go to the playoffs and play Arizona, which happened to be the first team to qualify for the playoffs...Arizona goes to the Super Bowl2010-Falcons didn't qualify for the playoffs and our division rival wins the Super Bowl2011-Falcons get #1 seed in the NFC playoffs and host the Packers in the Divisional round, get blown out by the eventual NFL Champions.Geez...this don't sound good at all...where's the -1 button at?
