SacFalcFan
Ken Malcome also sustained a concussion in the game and John Jenkins had an AC joint shoulder injury. Chris Conley is having wrist surgery. Ken and JJ should be okay by spring (so will Gilliard) and Chris Conley will be limited. Also the spring game will be April 14th. The weekend after Masters. We have 3 EEs who will be available for the spring game in Keith Marshall, Beard, and Bauta.

Don't follow recruiting much but seen that uga is going after some really hard. Don't follow recruiting much but seen that uga is going after some really hard. If they were to select uga can any start as true freshmanAnybody will be better than Bean at RT. We've got a trinton sturdivant ready OT in John Theus who is top 3 OT prospect in nation. If either one of the Long brothers step in that would be a huge help. Gates, Lee and Andrews i think will be the starting interior line. I think we also have some OL redshirting that may give us a boost as well. Should be alot of competition at OL during spring and fall practice!

Carter
The o-line should perform a whole lot better next season imo... we'll actually have guys in the right spots with depth behind them. I think Theus will definitely claim that LT spot early and hold it down. Beard should be able to come in and start at RT, I would think. Interior will be interesting to sort out... I think the interior of our line will be very very good next season.
Reeves
Depth alone should improve the OL tremendously next year. This year was eerily similar to 2006 when we played - and only had available - 6 guys. That's not good when you need 5 to start the game. I would put Austin Long or Gates at RT right now.

I suppose you sat behind an inadequate line andgot leveled by 300 lb men. You may get you wish next year if hegraduates and goes elsewhere. Wait until Mason gets hit a fewhundred times, and gets whiplashed like Aaron did in this lastgame. Mason has never taken a hit but you think he has presence.Wow, you probably have great presence sitting on your couchwatching the game too. You evaluate talent like Jake. Receiversget an A. Really, when does a receiver take his eye off a QBwhen he is in trouble and has not brought the ball down in therunners position? That play alone, the receiver should get an Fnot the QB. No you whiners blame it on the QB. Or how abouttight ends that don't block, miss block after block and ourrunning backs and QB's get hammered? F grade for blocking. Orhow about going out for passes when they are suppose toblock...happened a bunch of times...don't know the audibles.Problem is Jake is clueless. He is not an expert. Says he re-watched the film...of what, what Gruden was saying. Grudendidn't even know the second int was deflected by the defensivetackle. And how many times have you ever seen a DT deflect anflare out pass like that. No way should he be in the backfieldin that situation. Aaron takes it on himself to play throughpain, try to make plays when it's not happening and doesn't askto be pulled out of the game even when he has broken bones. MoreDawgs should be so driven to help their team win. Next year hewill slide and not run...then you will say he should have puthis head down. one more point for all you media types that thinkthey are journalists and report the truth but really only knowenough to stir the pot and fabricate truths...there is no statfor QB wins...this isn't baseball. If it was, then receiversdropping the ball would be an error and it wouldn't countagainst the QB as an incompletion. UAB_DAWG
Great post Sac. Neither one of those interceptions were Murray's fault. The first was all TK for not responding the way he was coached to a scramble drill and the second was tipped. How is that Murray's fault? It's really hard for me to fault a guy for trying to make plays to win a game especially when the rest of the team is out there doing nothing. Murray is no quitter and gives everything he has to win ball games on and off the field. He's a leader and a warrior. Somebody has to step up and try to make plays to win the game and Murray (and Malcome) were the only ones I saw trying to do that. Let's be real here. We have contingencies of our fan base that want to lay all the blame on Murray for our losses, others pin it all on Bobo and still more try to drop it all on CMR. Wake up and realize we got beat by a good team. We didn't do what we needed to win and that's just football sometimes. Sure we should have won that game but I don't see anybody hammering the defense for allowing MSU to march down the field and score on us at the end of the game.Again, we lost to a good team whose strengths happened to line up with our weaknesses. We should have won but plain and simple they beat us. I don't understand how that should cost someone their job or position on the team. The kid may have a strong arm, but he plays scared in big games and makes careless mistakes. Flame away. What games did Murray play scared? I disagree. He does make some mistakes that baffle me when under pressure or not just throwing the ball away. But as a player, the kid has heart and keeps playing. He just may have too much gunslinger in him. Scared??? Nah, I don't see that at all.
Mr Pickle1
I didnt' realize that about the 2 interceptions. My first response was disgust and anger, and I never rewatched the game. Sounds like it's pretty much 100 percent the offensive line, with some communication issues with receivers. T. King finally played like the T. King we expected all year, but you can tell he's still not mentally 100 percent.

I'm one of Murray's biggest fans but even I was putting a lot of blame on him after the game; I didn't think the first INT was necessarily his fault, but I didn't consider it to be TK's fault (even though it really probably was), and I also didn't realize the second INT was tipped. He got straight hammered by MSU and it started to show late in the game. With that said, I can't wait for next year because I think he's about as good of a person as you can have leading your program (within the players) and also because he has so much potential it's pretty scary. Think about how many plays we all can look back on and criticize him for. And then look at the numbers he put up. What does it equal? When he hits the field in 2012 he's going to be one of the best QBs UGA will EVER see. Period.Hyperbole? I really don't think so considering he's done so well in his first two years with some major, major issues around him (RB issues, OL issues, WR issues, etc). I'm not saying he's faultless or that he doesn't still make mistakes he probably shouldn't make, but the kid is about to show us how good he really is and when he does all the haters will be nowhere to be found. Carter
Nice. Still doesn't change the fact that the kid still sucks at crunchtime. Just hope he gets better.Do you even realize that Aaron Murray was the most sacked QB in the SEC this season? Do you even realize that there are only 19 schools in all of FBS that gave up more sacks than Georgia? We gave up more sacks than Ole Miss... and they had a tougher schedule. Our o-line was doodoo this year. You show me a QB that plays great with a bad o-line full of guys playing out of position with zero depth. Just one. Yet he SHATTERED the single season TD record and has WELL OVER a 2:1 ratio.People want to blame the QB without looking at anything else. Like Redskins fans all complaining about Jason Campbell or Jaguars fans about any QB they have. Murray can be streaky, but he will never look great when the o-line doesn't help him.
