A Pimp Named Slickback™
Ha well im not even sure Jets fans THINK the Falcons will win, they just REALLY want you to win.And I don't think we ARE going to win, but I think its a winnable game and that its something we HAVE to take advantage of. It will be a great game. I go in with no expectations after watching this team for the past 4 yearsA realist...I like your style
Karst41
thats because we are still digging into them about knocking the Jets out.Giants fans are not overly confident at all, we just feel good and think that this is a winnable game.Youse guys defense is looking mighty strong.JPP is simply a Human Wrecking Machine. This game will be a Brawl. MilleniumFalcon
The weather for the game against the Giants will be similar to our outdoor game against the Panthers on December 11th (when we had an offensive explosion in the 2nd half). That game was 45 degrees / partly cloudy at kickoff and it looks like it'll be the same for the Giants game.

It also didn't rain, although it did the previous year at Carolina. The way people are talking about this game, you'd think East Rutherford was on blizzard watch

Mega Flare
its cold as **** here today. Feels like 7 degreesI'm guessing (hoping) that's with wind chill. I'm sure it's much colder on the field surface, but I wonder exactly how cold it will feel for the players.
chitowndirtybird
8) The Falcons have played indoors 11 times this season, posting a 3-2 record outdoors. Ryan is 13-10 outside with a passer rating of 82.3. Indoors, he is 30-11 with a rating of 91.4.just saying that there is a definite drop in Ryan's production outsideAnd Brees averages about half of his indoor statistics in outdoor games. It happens to everyone not just Ryan, here's the kicker though, your QB plays in that crap all the time so you have a known quantity... Matty may just light it up this weekend, but I know for fact Eli won't.

sandtrap
I think its the general perception because you guys aren't exactly known for your road wins. Factor the cold in and it changes thing.Plus I think your giving his time in Boston college a little bit too much credit. College season ends in the end of November. Hes really only played 3 games in late December (which is a dramatic difference weather wise). Not to mention that 2 of those 3 games were in North Carolina and FloridaJust admit it dude, you have a man crush on Matty ice.

Not to mention that 2 of those 3 games were in North Carolina and FloridaI agree with giving too much credit to his college career, because it's completely different than the NFL. But I also think current analysts are putting too much stock in his early NFL years. This year he has been pretty good outdoors on the road.In 5 outdoor games this year, he has a 94.1 QB Rating, 61.1% completion, 1535 yards (307 per game), 7.8 ypa, 9 TD's, 3 INT's. And it's not like it was an easy outdoor road schedule. The Bears D was very tough early this season before they started spending so much time on the field. Seattle and Houston also have VERY tough defenses, especially against the pass. And the first game against the Bucs was before their entire team fell apart (they beat NO's at home 26-20 after our road loss to them). In other words, I think his road problems and outdoor issues are a thing of the past. We had a very touch outdoor schedule and his 94.1 rating and 307 yards per game are not supportive of the notion that he struggles outdoors. He definitely struggled in his first 3 seasons, but I think he's turned a corner.
4dabirds
well not really seeing as how you play in other indoor stadiums. But either way you want to dice it, you won't be indoors and you won't be at home.I would have to say suggesting that its colder in Atlanta right now is the biggest fail of the dayThe Falcons practice outside a lot, and I am certain that they'll conduct all practices outside this week. We've had bitter cold weather with high winds, making the wind chill drop into the low 20's and teens. It is cold here, but will warm up by weeks end. I don't see the cold being much of a factor. Wind and rain is what concerns me, and can sway the game in either teams direction.

Too much in the media and with fans alot of things get pinned on the QBs, but I would have to say as a whole your team doesn't play its best football in situations like that.I mean anything can happen, but personally I am VERY happy that we are playing you guys at our house (Which hasn't proven to be too great of a home field advantage for us) oppose to at your house.
