Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton have their own radio show here in NY, and they think Atlanta has a solid team. Granted, both are Jets fans, but they do give Atlanta credit for what they do. They think the ATL offense will beat down the Giants defense "like swiss cheese".

I love it!

They also say there is too much confidence from the Giants fans

thats because we are still digging into them about knocking the Jets out.

Giants fans are not overly confident at all, we just feel good and think that this is a winnable game.

trust me, I know. jet fans are the absolute worst. i'm just saying that they have a point, gmen fans seem like they are looking past this game already. all my friends are doing it.

Interesting how so many NYG fans think Matt Ryan, a Philly native and Boston College graduate, will wilt in the cold.

I think its the general perception because you guys aren't exactly known for your road wins. Factor the cold in and it changes thing.

Plus I think your giving his time in Boston college a little bit too much credit. College season ends in the end of November. Hes really only played 3 games in late December (which is a dramatic difference weather wise). Not to mention that 2 of those 3 games were in North Carolina and Florida

I mean fans are fans. I think most are pretty realistic about the Giants: we have looked like the best in the league, we have looked like the worst in the league. Nothing is given

Valid points, but all pro football players have to play in the cold at some point, and I doubt a snow bird will have much trouble.

8) The Falcons have played indoors 11 times this season, posting a 3-2 record outdoors. Ryan is 13-10 outside with a passer rating of 82.3. Indoors, he is 30-11 with a rating of 91.4.

just saying that there is a definite drop in Ryan's production outside

It's colder and windier in Atlanta than it will be in NY on Sunday. We are practicing outdoors. Weather will not be a factor. Trust me.

I'd be interested to see how the numbers look during the playoffs. This will be his first time, granted, but for a run-first team, he may be better off. At least he won't force throws like earlier this season. Here's hoping anyway.

That has more to do with road vs home than indoors vs outdoors. You're struggling today bro.

I actually watched alot of Falcons games this year cuz i'm a big fantasy guy and I had Ryan. I felt like he wasn't exactly forcing throws oppose to being forced to throw. Your OLine was getting him murdered early this year

well not really seeing as how you play in other indoor stadiums. But either way you want to dice it, you won't be indoors and you won't be at home.

I would have to say suggesting that its colder in Atlanta right now is the biggest fail of the day

True, but it seemed to me like some of the time he was throwing more to prove we had become "explosive." Sam Baker did give him a reason to throw nearly every down early on though; glad he's riding the pine.

And there is an obvious fact that Ryan plays indoor AT HOME. If the Falcons played in an open field Ryan's record outdoors would be much higher, simple as that.

I love it!

We just need to remember NYG almost beat GB.

We'll get to see just how well the coordinators prepare for this game.

So let me get this straight. Falcon fans and Jets fans think the Falcons will win on Sunday. Giant fans think the Giants will win. Huh?!?!

In all honesty, Atlanta and NYG have been two of the toughest teams to figure out this year. This has to be the toughest game to predict out of the four wild card games.

Ha well im not even sure Jets fans THINK the Falcons will win, they just REALLY want you to win.

And I don't think we ARE going to win, but I think its a winnable game and that its something we HAVE to take advantage of. It will be a great game. I go in with no expectations after watching this team for the past 4 years
