E-rutherford
You have an example of a cheap shot by our oline to share with us? Tuck heard we have a dirty oline from who... DonkeyKong Suh? The man who set a season record for visits to Goodell for dirty play?I have no examples I am just stating what Tuck has heard around the league. Below is his quote...:"We know they have that quote-unquote reputation," Tuck told reporters Monday according to ESPNNewYork.com. "But in a way it kind of is exciting. Most people, would call them dirt bags. But it is what it is. We got to make sure we do our job and if we are doing our job well, then they will be upset and they will be trying to do things to get us off our game and we got to take that as a compliment. But in the same sense you got to protect yourself and hopefully the referees have 20-20 vision this week."
ConnFalcon
Tuck is always running his mouth. He needs to shut up and play some football. He has been hot garbage this year.

WineBird
Mmmm, I think we have a new nickname for the O-Line.Tuck is lucky he doesn't play in a bygone era.20 years ago, without Goody-goody in the commish's chair, Tuck would have a career ending injury coming his way.Get ready for the Dirt Bags, clearing the way for the playoff run! I dont think you want your O-line to have that rep and I dont think they do. Personally I haven't heard anything about the Falcon's oline. But being up here in NJ I only get to see the ESPN highlight stuff.
Club212
Sorry I was not 1st to report this, I got the NY Daily News AFTER being OL this AM, Tuck is on the backpage that reads "Dirtybirds" talks of "dirtbag" OL that "cleans up " after the plays are over usually downfield after runs then we blindside. Quotes that the Packers BJ Raji & players from the Lions both teams complained & hopes the refs will have 20-20 vision this week. PS- Paper also reports Osi & Tuck ARE Hurting with past injuries, but whatever, there was no other bashing. Tuck did say we are good at all things offenisvely but not "great" at anything. They ALL as well as TC have said nothign but positve things about the Falcons. They are taking nothing for granted. Tuck was asked about the Atlanta oline and what he had heard. He didnt offer that info on his own.

He didnt offer that info on his own.I'm pretty sure he heard all sorts of things, and chose this thing to highlight. Why? Is it because Atlanta truly plays dirty? Outside of Dunta, we don't have that rep. We traded the only other guy who did (Dahl.)Tuck is hedging a possible loss.

Also Tuck didnt call them dirt bags its what he has heard from around the league.

Nice of you to stop by, move along now couch-surfer.
Club212
I'm shocked since the Giants normally don't do this, sure his HC spoke to him i'll bet! Maybe he was tired from a few weeks ago when the Jets ran their mouths.
Guest King Shot
If our offensive line was worthy of a nickname, Dirt Bags would be perfect. What a great name for an offensive line.
saintmtillage
I rarely ever notice our line doing these things I hear about, I'll admit when a play is questionable, Dunta makes them, William Moore makes them. I don't think they are dirty, but they are close, I just don't SEE it with our guys. And who says "Dirt bag"!? Might as well call them jive turkeys.I've never seen this, even though 4 teams have said something about it. I think they're babies, and need to go play football. You never saw a player whining abut someone being dirty back when the NFL actually allowed real contact, and QBs didn't get garbage time stats to break records(Brees I'm looking at you). You mad
JOEinPHX
Aw c'mon, the Falcons O-line are a bunch of dirt bags. You know it, I know it, and they all know it too. They're not above cutting a DE on the first series to send a message. They're not above playing to, through, and just a little bit beyond the whistle. And when an opponent takes issue with it all and goes Ndamukong on them, they're not above hitting the ground when they could have kept their feet. All of which makes them comparable to other O-lines around the league. 11=team
..what a first class whiner, …what an idiot. Tuck didn't even know who the Giants were playing (we've got to play Green Bay(no), aghh the Saints (No!), the Lions (NO!!!- the interviewer finally told him he was playing the Falcons)- "Oh, I thought we were playing Detroit". If this man's only source of information is Ndamukong Suh, he has a glaring vulnerability between the ears. Maybe Svitek and Baker can tell him laces are loose, after that starts to loose effectiveness after about 20 times they can start with the other shoe.GO FALCONS!!! Guest JoeSr
LMFAO @ jive turkeys! HA!Anyway, if the Falcons o-lineman are dirt bags (lame term) then what do we call the Giants defense circa Rams vs Giants game earlier this season? CrimsonFalcon
Wonder what he'd be saying if Harvey Dahl was still with us...I like the term, could be a fitting nickname for the OL.
