Peyton's Feel Good Stat Of The Day - Part 2

I'm surprised I hadn't picked up on this sooner. These stats really took me by surprise.

The Giants are traditionally smash mouth so I tend to think of them as a team with an effective running game.

This year the Giants finished dead last in the NFL in both rushing and rushing yards per carry.

That's 89.2 yards per game and 3.5 YPC respectively.

So that should bode well for the Falcons making the Giants one dimensional on offense.

Thanks Peyton for another feel good stat. But I wouldn't count Bradshaw and Jacobs out, they are too big backs that have been hurt alot this year. But, I for one won't underestimate them. All it takes is one good game. But i do know that their D is gonna have their hands full with Turner.

That's a valid concern. They've been much more effecrtive lately since their collective health ha improved.

It's strange. They're still heavily dependent on the run. If Bradshaw and Jacobs do bad, the Giants do bad. That might explain their record and how they lost to teams that can stop the run like Washington.
