GENERALZOD
Hopefully with no wind. Last thing we need is some balls floating and getting turn overs. Or balls wet and getting fumbled. We aren't to bad on turn overs but weather can effect that.Yeah, I worry about the kicking game if it's windy also. This could come down to a field goal game. jdub051082
I have been a lifelong giants fan. I became a huge falcons fan when matt ryan was drafted (I went to BC as well). Now, the two teams are playing each other and I will be miserable next week no matter the outcome. We match up against the Giants better than any other team in the playoffs. Being the oracle that I am, here are a couple of points:- The Giants D-Line will have a field day with the Falcons' O-line. Ryan will be knocked down more or less on every down.- Cruz will have a 135 yard day. This guy is truly unbelievable. Very fast and elusive. He is like HD to the 5th power. If you don't jam him on the line, he will find the soft spots of the defense and do major damage.- Falcons receivers will have a huge day. The Giants secondary is god awful. Gonzalez will have a big day. None of the Giants linebackers can cover him. Julio might have 2 touchdowns. Roddy will have have a TD.- Giants will commit 4 or 5 game changing penalties. Bank on it.- Eli will pick the Falcons secondary apart. He will pass for 415 yards and 2 touchdowns (but throw an interception).- The Falcons will have an ineffective running game. Turner will maybe rush for 50-75 yards.- This is also the battle of the worst OCs in the league. It is not a coincidence that both offenses are better when both QBs are running the no huddle.- Whichever quarterback has the ball last will win the game. This game is the battle of the 4th quarter QBs. The game will be decided by a field goal.Falcons: 33 Giants: 30Cool, but don't forget Jason PP. I like the layout. However, 2009 game was pretty close so we aren't to far off from winning this one.

papachaz
if it rains or snows, we pound turner against the #27 rush defense in the league. chews up yardage, chews up clock, keeps their offense off the field.....what part of that is a problem?also, did you watch any of the game last year when NE went into Chicago and absolutely demolished the BEARS defense in that snow storm, and they did it PASSING! why are you so sure we won't be able to pass if it rains or snows?we'll win this game. i'm gonna say by 10 points. Trouble
So because NE can do it, just means we can? They have a pass rush!!! Have you watched any of our games where ryan gets smacked around? Shouldnt be hard to find. We lost most of them. Weather only complicates that.
MilleniumFalcon
i respectfully disagree here. cruz has been terrorizing corners all season. i have no idea how he does it, but he just makes huge catches every game. he will get at least 100 yards receiving. No receiver has really had a big day on Grimes, not even Calvin Johnson "Megatron", I think Grimes can handle Cruz. PokerSteve
49 degrees, partly sunny on AstroTurf. I don't see a problem with weather. Now, at Lambeau with 22 degree weather, that's different. If it's almost 50 degrees and dry, the weather will be a non-factor. Us playing on the road rather than at home will be the more critical problem to overcome.

I think Grimes will stick with him and grimes can jump routes. But it would be nice if the Dline gives grimes some help.

Jesus
Victor Cruz has had a very good year, but he hasn't been terrorizing CBs. The following super teams shut him down. Washington twice, St Louis and Buffalo. As far as the falcons o line they have allowed only 26 sacks of Ryan. They also blocked for the NFCs top rusher. They also led the falcons to their highest gaining offense in franchise history. As good as the NYG d line is they held up allowing no sacks to the Vikings who have a defense almost exactly the same stat wise as the giants. They get sacks but can't stop the pass. Sacks don't matter.Playing outside? Not really an issue anymore with the falcons. This team is built to succeed in this weather.Bradshaw and Jacobs? They suck. They both averaged less than 4 yards per carry. This should be a win. Edited January 2, 2012 by Jesus
Club212
I live about 25 minutes south of Met Life, was just on my 1 story roof taking down Christmas lights, its sunny, windy & my hands are still numb, the winds do swirl in there, hope the K/P game does plenty of practicing before the game. Tuck & Osi can cause some issues but they don't worry me like JPP.
falconfan89
I would have rather played in Dallas but the Giants are a team we can give some trouble to. Their running game is scary. Their main problem is Eli hangs on to the ball way to long. And he's apt to miss on timing routes or when he doesn't his receivers drop a lot of them.I think we will have a great chance in this one especially after the flop Dallas just handed them. If we fire out strong and score a couple early they will be in trouble.Celtikthe giants finished last in rushing if im not mistaken because they never really had both backs on the field. Hocus_Pocus
Hopefully if Grimes is on Cruz, Eli will try and pick on him because he's been hurt... That could bode very well for us.
