Best Offense ever to play the game of football? I think so!

not yet scooter...9ers of the 80s started this trend...then dallas of the 90s which was a little more balanced...heck,even miami in the marino years were dynamic even though they dont have a ring, they never had the d to do it like you had to have back then...your getting close though imo

The all time statistics say otherwise....2011 Saints are the best offense ever.

2011 New Orleans Saints have the best offense in NFL history. Get over it.

Troy Aikman even said he has never played on an offense as good as ours.

The best of those Dallas offenses barely managed 364 yards a game and were #2 rushing & #13 passing. I'm not sure how that's more balanced than the #1 passing & #7 rushing... especially when you consider that those Cowboys averaged 4.4 yards per carry while the Saints average 4.9.

Saints also average 7.0 more points per game than that Cowboys team as well as currently having a better record. Unfortunately for the Saints... 13-3 gets them the #3 seed while 12-4 was good enough for the #1 seed for those Cowboys.

Those 49ers offenses were great though. They started something a lot of teams hadn't seen before and didn't know how to defend. The Saints have taken it to a whole new level. Top notch group of WRs... 2nd best TE in the league and probably the most gifted athletically. They also have 4 really good running backs, and this doesn't even include Joique Bell from the practice squad.

The Saints are at the forefront of this new style of west coast offense that puts pressure on safeties. This is the style of offense that has effectively killed the Tampa 2. Packers and Patriots run their own versions of it as well.
