Even wtih a worse record (even though last years record was really inflated). Not getting a single playoff win would be a HUGE disappointment and confirm to many that there is a missing element here in Atlanta...toughness. Kind of like the Braves in the 90's, it was a great turnaround but it was quite frustrating for disappointment after disappointment in the postseason. The Hawks were really bad but the past few years, they've turned it around into a perennial playoff contender, however, they don't go anywhere in the playoffs. Club212 Posted December 31, 2011 Share Posted December 31, 2011 I'm a fan for 40 yrs, I live in NYC, was in ATL in '92 for the opener of the Georgia Dome, went to the game in Miami in '99 for SBXXIII, sorry, but the Monkey is still on my back, watching a College DC getting schooled week in/week out whether we win or lose, esp. having 11 days off to study the Saints last week is a joke. There is plenty better DC out there, why wait, I'm not satisfied winning 1 or 2 games sorry, this franchise' time is NOW, & YES, I will be there next February when we play!
