This means LB Spencer Adkins will start at outside linebacker. Adkins has been active for nine of Atlanta’s 15 games and has recorded two tackles. Hayden joined the Atlanta roster in 2011 as a free agent. He played in eight games and had 27 tackles with two interceptions. Peterson was a free-agent addition of Atlanta in 2008 and had 23 tackles and one interception. Gonzalez has 79 receptions this season and has caught seven touchdown passes. This is his 12th Pro Bowl selection in his 15-year NFL career and second since joining the Falcons in 2009.
