YES ray hamilton. ppl want to get on BVG, and rightly so but for most of this season there has been no pass rush, NONE!!! i mean QBs are just standing in the pocket comfortable...as much blame goes on BVG shi** zone conepts, we need to be gettin on ray for his envolvment in sid, berrman, abe,edwards,peters,jerry,walker... a lot of talent and were underperforming in this area.... i believe this offseason we may need to find a replacement for him as well...thoughts??? UK13 Posted December 28, 2011 Share Posted December 28, 2011 how about a overhaul for a about 90% percent of the staff , to keep going in nationally televised games and getting smoked is embarrasing , there obviously being out coached because we had ample time to get prepared for this game and as a fan for 30 plus years it bothers me because talent is not the problem. The players have given up, the fans are sick and tired of being sick and tired, the whole town has been embarrassed yet again on national televison with one of the team's worst performances ever. A bold stroke at the end of the season could save years of further futility and frustration. Hopefully Blank is as fed up with this chinese fire drill as we are. I really do. I don't hate Mike Smith, I just think his conservative philosophy is at the heart of the problems the team has with their offensive and defensive schemes and game plans. I don't see Mike Smith changing into Jim Harbaugh or Sean Payton, so I don't see how a new OC or DC are really going to change our overall antiquated, predictable, shop-worn way of playing football. Z-E-R-0.I am beginning to think above .500 winning seasons is the complete goal of this coaching staff.Mediocre is fine for this bunch.BVG IS STILL A JOKE and for all the people that have his back, please show me how he deserves protection from firing?Please do not quote stats against losing record teams, as those stats get BURNED in BIG GAMES!If Smitty cannot man up and make the decision to improve this Defense, then "Thanks for the winning seasons, goodbye."We cannot even make a decent showing on National TV against legitimate teams and it is getting old.We can blame the players for so much but for the lack of "GUTS" on the field, I blame the coaches.Please Mr. Blank, step up and win one for the City this off season.Better yet, fire BVG before the Tampa game and show Atlanta that the Trophy means something to you.
