ltstorm2
I just saw how real fans support their team. The Atlanta falcons fan base sucks. I could barely hear in that dome. If you go to falcons games and you're not making noise every down while we're on defense. YOU'RE A WORTHLESS FAN AND YOU NEED TO GIVE YOUR SEATS TO SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT THE TEAM. The only time our fans get into any game is when we have the opportunity to do the "wave" at inappropriate times. You golf clappers need to keep your ***** at home. It's quite apparent we need real fans at the game. I'm also disgusted to find almost no fans in their dome while saint fans over run ours. They beat us to a SB victory...they are now 10-2 (or something like that) against us as of late. Forget stopping them, we can't even slow them down. The Falcons don't give us a lot to be excited about. If the Falcons were to do something at the beginning of a game, like consistantly put the ball in the endzone, I'm sure you'd see a full house...you sound upset at the loss more than anything. But everything you said was stupid. I'm not even talking about what happened in the game. I'm talking about our pathetic fanbase compared to new Orleans. I have been to every home game since 98 and we have never been as loud as they were. There weren't any golf clappers and everyone was cheering. I could barely hear in there. I stand up yell and go crazy when our defense is on the field and I turn around and see a sea of fans sitting quietly.

Since I've been watching the Falcons (over 30 years), they've been doing just what they did tonight, flop on the biggest stage ever. Why do you expect a packed house of loyal fans when the Falcons play so despicable?

It makes no sense to go to a game and sit quietly when you can do the same from home. I saw first hand what fans sound like that support their team. Our fanbase is pathetic compared. UK13
Ever wonder why the Saints don't Get smoked like we do , oh yea they got good coaches that have them prepared for big games , MM & BVG have got to go

ltstorm2
Oh yeah...you're upset. Typical reaction of a terrible loss.Yes I am upset but not from the game. I'm extremely disappointed in our pathetic fanbase. Do you go to home games or are you talking about something you know nothing about? Like I said I've been to every home game for the last 13 years so I know what I'm talking about. Even saint fans talked about we only cheer on 3rd down or at the end of the game. Our fanbase is pathetic period.

If the Falcons were possibly the best team in the NFL besides GB and NE, as a fan, I'm sure the Dome would be rockin like he's expecting. But no one wants to rush to a game to see a "no huddle" netting 3 points in the opening drive. I'm just being honest....most fans would love to see a TD. This staff can't coach the talent that it has...so how do you expect the fans to rally around opening FGs?

~SEAMILL~
Saints sucked forever until the last 5 years. Then they won a Super Bowl and have an explosive offense with a top 3 QB. Easy to support a team like that. We'll see what the place looks like in a few years when Brees gets long in the tooth and/or retires. Atlanta doesn't support pro football. Transplants and UGA fans. Look around. Hard to even find Falcons stuff for sale outside of the Dome. A history of losing will do that. fansince78
I am glad you enjoyed visiting the Superdome. You put a little too much value in the “12th” man though if you think the fans and all of their noise was the reason the Saints stomped the crap out of the Falcons. That place is also capable of sounding more like a church than a stadium. You should have visited there when the Saints really sucked. The crowd in any city mirrors what is on the field. Unfortunately, the dome don't even sound as loud as some churches now because most of the fans know the team don't have a prayer without some changes being made. We've been selling out the Dome for nearly 12 years. I can easily recall being "blacked out" on 5 of the 8 home games....and he's dogging the fans that sell out the Dome....OOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKKKKAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!! k-train
Their fanbase also wore bags on their heads not too terribly long ago, so nobody would recognize them as fans of that team.Granted, Falcons fans do tend to be late getting to their seats before kickoff, cheer at the wrong times, for opposing players, etc., but winning consistently will build a better fanbase. That is the point these guys are trying to make. So, until this team is consistently putting away inferior teams, and at the very least staying competitive with good teams, nothing is going to change. Nor should it... these guys are paid to perform, no matter who cheers or doesn't cheer. That's the bottom line.

Guest Negatorris
The fanbase will NEVER be good until we win a ring, I'm telling you. After 60 years, what do most fans have to cheer for? Underachievers? The Falcons can't keep fans if they do nothing but disappoint them. I just think this franchise has no luck whatsoever. We haven't done anything significant with good chances. Got to the bowl in 98 and got embarrassed. Got to the NFCCG and got embarrassed. Got the number 1 seed last season and got embarrassed. Win 3 in a row, and lose to the Saints at home. Win another 2 in a row, and get beat by the Texans. Win another two in a row, and get blown out. Really, this franchise is full of letdowns, and I don't know why...If we can't win 4 games in a row, there is no way we are going to a SB. And of all people, we're gonna be eliminated by the Stains again.
