Serge 8,912
The most miserable effort by the offensive line since the opener. The long drives towards the end of the game were made possible by the time the defense spent on the field, and that was because we couldn't run the ball with any consistency and couldn't give Ryan a pocket. Every play Ryan was either passing against a wave of hands or running from someone barely touched from outside or up the middle. We got beat. Most of the blame's going to fall between Julio screwing up so many times on the last drive and Dunta getting called for pass interference on the other side of the field from the interception return but you're not supposed to win by getting beat up front on both sides of the ball, if Julio holds on at the end and we win it in overtime, we'd have won and it would have been luck all the way. fuq u 601
Texas has the better team. For the ones that didn't know, now ya do. Good thing Chicago lost. Now if the Saints can take care of the Lions we'll be right where we were with the wild card spot. Oh well, off to Carolina.

Serge 8,912
i think alot of blame falls on ryan.he was off all daydrops definitely didnt helpRyan was off earlier in the game without question but he played well enough to win, we were in the game until the last second because of some superman plays between him avoiding pressure and getting a throw off and a receiver coming down with it being fought all the way. Julio's drop did us in at the end, but we're protecting a tied score or a lead if the offensive line could have held up long enough for a quick pass on a couple 4th downs. Being overwhelmed by a four man rush to the point that the quarterback can't move up in the pocket, can't get outside of the pocket, and can't throw over the linemen because they can't lock arms is a full-scale meltdown regardless of who's playing who. THE johnnybuc 115
5th seed would be a good spot! With Forte going out you all may just be able to pull it off even with today's loss. Falcon fans have to realize that the Texans have a damned good defense this season! Wade Phillips may not be much of a head coach but he's a damned GOOD defensive coordinator! falconsd56 26,525
Good effort by the defense.Bad effort by offense.Ryan was off early on. on some WIDE OPEN throws. And then Wrs dropped some WIDE OPEN plays.Jones looked like a rookie, he made a couple of unbelievable catches and efforts but also showed why is still a rookie ( cause a time out and then not running back to LOS in the hurry up)Overall we played terrible and the Texans front 7 came to play. Kudos to themOn to carolina.Luckily for us The falcons are tough to beat after a loss.
