I think there is a deep seeded wedge between Ryan, Mularkey, Smith and TD. TD wants a more dynamic passing attack and the ability to be more creative. Smith is conservative by nature and him and Mularkey seem to stick to the game-plan and never adjust. The only time we excel is when we are forced out of our comfort zone and Ryan can do his thing.. We have philosophical issues...

We are a team that doesn't face adversity . The plan all along was to change the offense to be more explosive so you have to call more passing plays . Problem is Ryan doesn't have the gun slinger mentality and more of game manager . So he opts for check Downs

Plus poor route designs and bad play calling team is a mess

It does appear that they're trying to get away from it this year. They seam to want to throw more than last. But, the Oline is failing terribly at giving Ryan time to do this. I'm glad they want to open up the field more, but if the line can't block, it's not going to work. May have to go back last years identity and run the ball first, then pass.
