heretic 10
Great game, great defense, horrid o-line and a putrid punter. But the problem is our passing game. even if Ryan scored 4 touchdowns, our passing game was not good enough. We scored 4 TDs because of Eagles turnovers. I loved Ryan toughness, but I kept watching hesitations and bad decision making. There's something wrong with his pocket awarenessI've seen Brady, today, escaping from tons of blitzes and still getting it done so don't say it's JUST the o-lineAnd someone tell MM we need some screens....!!!!! Zanka 83
He is affected by the horrid play of our OLine. He is nervous to be in the pocket.

It wasn't great at all.

nomak 4,733
Good enough to win. Whats that say about your teams play, troll? And what does it say about that dreamteam defense. In the end Ryan went to the no huddle in the 4th quarter, called the game and won. Period.

nomak 4,733
I had my concerns about Matt b4 the game, those concerns are forgotten.......hopefully for good.
MattM12 1,721
I am going to have to disagree on that.He got it done against a very tough D.After taking hits like that, I will agree that his clock is a little fast, but I would rather it ran fast than getting strip sacked by Trent Cole, who made Baker his B!tch last night
lcranberry 67
Dude had 4 TDs. What's the issue. Couldn't believe 195 YDs passing, I thought he was closer to 300 just from watching in the Dome. I think practice and familiarity with Roddy/Julio will mean more longer pass plays in the future. Great Win tho!!

pzummo 6,734
Two consecutive 80 yard TD drives in the 4th quarter after all of those hits he took, and you are still concerned about Ryan?!?A lot of QB's, including Vick, get happy feet and turn the ball over. Comparing to Brady is a joke. That guy had ALL DAY vs SD. I watched that entire game, and Brady is awesome, but you can't compare the protection Matt gets to Brady's protection. Trent Cole lived in our backfield all game.
JayOzOne 20,122
We have to do something on the line, though. MR2 will not survive until the bye week if he keeps getting smashed back there. I'd love to see some quick slants to Douglas so that Ryan can get rid of the ball quickly without checking down to a running back. I admire Ryan's resiliency but wish I didn't have to witness it.
