Dago 2.0
so much for that for the time being.I really think the Pac-12 didn't want Texas and Oklahoma because those two schools would have immediately been the elite schools in that conference. The traditional Pac-10 schools football history and tradition would become just that....history
Carter
FWIW Texas ruined the deal of moving to the Pac-12... something Oklahoma and Oklahoma State were both very interested in. Texas refuses to equally share revenue and the Pac-12 was not interested in pushing the issue any further. Oklahoma has said they will only stay in the Big 12 if Dan Beebe gets replaced and Texas makes concessions in regard to Longhorn Network. So for the time being the Big 12 is staying intact, trying to work out their issues and figuring out replacement teams. I still don't see this ending well for the Big 12 though. Texas is gonna mess around and end up screwing over Baylor and Texas Tech, because they will end up going independent and those schools are basically pinning their hopes of major football survival on what Texas does. This conference realignment earthquake is going to completely reshape the way college football operates if all these moves eventually go through. I don't like it.
