Super Mario
Anyone heard of Rob Gronkowski or Aaron Hernandez? AKA pass catching TEs? AKA Cover 2/Tampa 2 killers? Since dropping 2 safeties deep is perhaps one of the most common defensive formations, Bill Belichick brought in two hybrid TEs that can run down the seams. We've seen this over and over with good teams. Peyton Manning has/had Dallas Clark and Jacob Tamme who does this. Phillip Rivers has Antonio Gates. On the other hand, the Falcons refused to go out and grab Zach Miller, who could have stretched the field against the Cover 2. Tony Gonzalez is solid, but he is getting slower.
Faithful Falcon
Yep, because they only allowed Pro Bowler Chad Henne to throw for over 400 yards on them. Edited September 18, 2011 by Faithful Falcon
BirdzEyeView
I definitely agree with you regarding your TE argument. That said, the Chargers blew this game with gazillion turnovers...
Karst41
and Belichick has had how many draft picks over the past 2 years? The guy is the best HC since Walsh
Twoism
Why didn't the Falcons turn off salary-cap in the league settings and pick up every player this off-season? They are so stupid...
savwboy9
I am pretty sure I heard this same argument last year  and the year before that  and the year before that

SwampyMux12
You watch the game??? Chargers missed a 4th and goal on the 1, and turned the ball over three times in plus territory, twice in scoring position. The Patriots are good, but are definitely human. BMoreFalconsFan09
Turnover will kill you every time. Especially when a team like the Patriots can convert off this turnovers.
TorontoFalcons
It is amazing how the Pats offense is able to move the ball so easily, with just plugging in no name players. They just click as a unit credited to a great system created by coaching and having the best qb in league

ru_serious
Funny thing is they have the most dink and dunk offense in the league. They are just so consistent. Brady is unreal.
